In Sorstoville-en-Beaumont you can visit a typical cookie factory and buy the traditional cookies baked with salted butter at bargain prices. Other recommended destinations are the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg with its fantastic aquariums, the Dior Museum in Granville or the world-famous Mont St. Michel monastery. If you're traveling in August, you might be lucky enough to visit the Horse Show in St. Lô, which is all about horses for three days.
