The Space:
Longmore Retreat by Tiny Away is located in the heart of Victoria, just an hour's drive from Melbourne and easily accessible from Daylesford. It's a charming town nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, known to locals as Spa Country. A place for you to unwind yourself to a well-deserved relaxation, where you can decompress at places like Hepburn Bathhouse, or loosen up in the great outdoors such as Trentham Falls and Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens.

The perfect hideaway encompassed by natural bushland with a mild climate, local wildlife, and serene lakes. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated showers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be a second tiny house called "Longmore Estate" on the same property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's main house. All areas surrounding the property other than the main house are fenced up except that the property has an open small lake and an open dam.

Longmore Retreat by Tiny Away is within easy reach of Daylesford, with its spas, natural springs, walking trails, and fresh bushland air, the tranquil town of Daylesford provides the ultimate escape from city life. Within easy reach of central Melbourne, Daylesford offers a plethora of activities such as bathing in the mineral springs of Hepburn Bathhouse, picnicking on top of Wombat Hill, or go exploring local boutique wineries.

-Trentham Falls is the highest single drop of any waterfall in Central Victoria, the moss covered falls is suitable for picnics in bush-covered surroundings.
- Pamper yourself at Hepburn Bathhouse, a traditional, underground spring spa house providing a therapeutic quality and wellness for each dip in their mineral pools.
-Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens is perched atop an extinct volcano, with gardens featuring a walk through fernery, picnic sites and a lookout tower for a scenic view of the Macedon Range.

By car:

- Its a 1 hour 15 min drive from Melbourne and 35 minutes from Ballarat or Castlemaine.

By public transport:

- Daylesford has taxis. Nearest town from the stay is Daylesford and only a 20 minute walk or a few minutes by car. The nearest cities or large townships are Ballarat or Castlemaine. Its approximately 1 hour 15 mins from Melbourne

Other Things to Note:
- For firewood, please bring your own firewood or we may point you to a local supplier close by
- No pets allowed
- Wifi is not available
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please expect insects and free-roaming wildlife during your stay
- We recommend bringing with you an insect repellent or bug spray
- Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the stay
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra, Optus ; weak signal with Vodafone, 2degress and Spark
- We advise guests to dress appropriately, such as long pants, sleeves, or boots when roaming outdoors
- The property has an open small lake and an open dam which are not suitable for children

Important note:

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property and you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
