This beautiful Mansion is found in the very heart of Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Sarnen. The village Sachseln is located halfway between Lucerne and Interlaken. The panoramic view to the lake and the mountains is breathtaking. The almost 100 years old building was completely restored in 2019 and offers 6 cozy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 extra toilets, a dining room with coffee machine, a library room, a home cinema, free WLAN, indoor parking, garden with pavilion and last but not least, a house bar.
The mansion may be rent completely in order to have a maximum of privacy.
The hostess loves to spoil the guests with a delicious breakfast buffet and local specialities for dinner. If you like, and on special request, you can share the kitchen.
For those individual travellers who stay overnight, rooms can be rent as 'Hotel' rooms, for them, a breakfast buffet is served with Swiss and local specialities. It is the ideal place for a homey stay away from home.
A conference room with modern presentation technology is available for guests who would like to book the property for business purposes, a meeting or a workshop. It offers space for a maximum of 10 people.
Your host Verena will give you the best secret tips for your perfect sightseeing in the area. Sachseln and Flueli-Ranft offer important Swiss history: Nicolaus von Flue (the only Saint of Switzerland), was a hermit and mediator, and influenced political agreements in times after Switzerland was established 600 years ago.
The house has direct access to the train station, a battery-charging station for E-cars, a car-sharing station and the landing-stage for sightseeing boat cruises. For sunbathing and swimming at lake Sarnen, the access is found in 100 meters from the house. In winter, several ski resorts can be reached within a 30 minutes drive.

Fantastic B&B
Verena was a great host. We had a large group and rented all the rooms. Everything was perfect in the house. As to location, it’s great. The train station is across the street. A restaurant is next door. The lake is across the train tracks. And the views from every window is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Experience in Sachseln
Our family vacation in Switzerland was wonderful including the few days we stayed at the Verena’s Inn in Sachseln. Before booking our stay Verena was very communicative in my requests for information at her B&B and the different places to visit in the central Switzerland. Her knowledge of the many different activities and recommendations for services, restaurants and travel throughout the country were extremely helpful and made our vacation experience amazing in the sites we took in and the ease and simplicity with being able to get places and into the different venues. While at the Inn, Verena was extremely accommodating in making sure all of our family member’s needs we’re catered to, including doing everything for one of family members who had special dietary needs. I can’t say enough positive things about the wonderful service we received. It is one thing to say the coffee and breakfast were very nice, but it was Verena’s extra effort and constant attention to detail that made things so wonderful and memorable. I know I speak for the entire family we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Last word regarding our stay in the B&B, the inn is everything the pictures show. And overall experience was so accessible with the trains being so close by or right beyond the property made getting into Lucerne, Sarnen or other towns around Sachseln so simple to see different things and have access to different restaurants Thank you Verena
