We are happy with Arawa. The rooms are spacious, water is hot, room is warm. The only suggestion is to offer nicer cafe ambience and buffet breakfast. Normally, guests will go out after breakfast. So, don't worry about lunch and dinner. Focus on the buffet breakfast. God bless Arawa. Don't give up!

Nice comphy bed very clean beautiful view from our room. No plates or cutlery in rooms just two cups two teaspoons no teatowels. Grotty electric jug that leaked all over the bench. Staff were friendly. Wasnt for us though as weve stayed in other hotels that do supply plates & cutlery.

Hotel room was very spacious and clean, but hotel is in serious need of a refurb. All of the furniture and appliances are very old/dated. With that being said the beds were very comfortable and it was nice having a small private deck. Room service was very delayed. But staff were friendly. Good value for money overall.

Great location, and friendly & helpful staff. The room was really spacious & beds super comfy! However, the room could do with a deep clean & general dusting. The spa pool hadn’t been cleaned in a while & the luggage shelf was uncleaned too. Other than that, a great option for a weekend in Rotorua if you want to stay centrally, with a parking option.

Good value hotel
Hotel is a bit dated. Very large room. Was excited to have a spa bath in the room but filled it with water and the Jets wouldn't work. High quality soaps and lotions. Couldn't figure out how to get the TV onto live TV. Seemed to only be setup for Chronecast and streaming apps. The secure car park at the back was hard to find. Had to park alongside the building which was not lit very well.
