Good but in cabin cooking range did not work
The cabin with kitchen and bathroom was clean and in good condition. Comfortable bed. But the cooking range did not work and front desk did not send anyone to look at the problem. Disappointing when you book a cabin with kitchenette.

It was very disappointing to find that the parks Thermal hot pools are no longer available and haven’t been for the past 4 years. This is still being promoted on their own website, even though when I questioned this I was told they had taken it off. Not acceptable.

We stayed for a night as part of a road trip, and the ensuite cabin was perfect. It was just the two of us, but a family with small children could have made use of the bunks in the other room. Everything was fresh and clean, and the grounds had a nice feel. The hot pools were a bit disappointing, being just small rectangular concrete, but we just went to Polynesian Spa instead. All in all a great place and would stay here again

This was one of the most pricey holiday park cabin I booked in our 2 weeks holidays in NZ. I was under the impression the property had thermal pools onsite, therefore I booked to stay here. Having “thermal” in the property name is a bit misleading. The hot pool is very small, not really enough room if 4 different families decide to use the pool at the same time. The kitchen lacks of the common utensils eg grater, sharp knife, colander. And offering just 1G of free wifi is a joke.

Suited me perfectly, as I was on my own while my husband was in hospital. Felt fairly safe in my self contained unit. It was also extremely clean. I would definitely stay here again. The reception staff could have been a bit friendlier, but that is my only negative.
