Nice stay
We checked in...staff was very friendly...room was great. However....the toilet didn't work/flush so we had to be moved to another room. I felt the hotel should have at least offered an upgrade, free dinner or at least something off the night's stay..since we had already checked in, unpacked and had to then move all our belongings to another room. Other than that..the stay was great.

Overall the property is kind a new and clean. But i Requested to check on the parking dog next-door who wasn’t letting me sleep. The front desk said they cannot do anything about it.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Rocky Mount Friday, August 2 until Sunday, August 4th. My key cards did not work during my stay. On Friday, I took all of my stuff to my room (608) and my key card did not work. It was flashing red and green. Then I had to go back to the lobby and tell them what happend. They gave me 2 more key cards. I go back up stairs and the key cards still do not work. I go back down to the lobby and tell them the key cards are not working. One of the front desk people (very nice lady) goes with me back up to the door. She tried my keys to make sure the keys were not working. They were not working. She used her master key and was able to get me in. She stated that the deadbolt was having an issue and to push it in and out several times and it will unlock the door.. It did open the door immediately after doing the deadbolt several times and then going directly into the the room. Jiggling the deadbolt and then leaving will not work. I had to get another person to let me in my room later that night. Saturday morning I had a bike ride so I was taking my stuff out to my car. I had to be there at the start at a certain time so I was pressed for time. I jiggle the deadbolt 5 times and then take some stuff down to my car. I come back to get my bike and the door will not unlock. I had to go back downstairs to get a person to open my room door. I was very irritated because of the back and forth. The lady stated she would put in a work order for the door, but that did

We were traveling and just needed a place for the night. Hotel was very nice. Everyone was very friendly, hotel was modern and clean, and felt very safe. Definitely recommend.

It was not a pleasant stay. Only redeeming quality is that they were no bedbugs. Cramped room that was poorly designed & lacking in amenities that belonged in hotel of that caliber. Mostly rude staff except the gal who checked us in & the lovely gentleman with whom I spoke after our room wasn't cleaned. Fridge was funky, ac loud, always loud in halls & above us, plus uncomfortable beds, so no one in our party slept well. Also, somehow the hand lotion is more water than lotion
