Room was dark, lacking decent lighting. One bedside light and a small lamp on the desk. One of the lights in the bathroom was out. Although updates were evident, the room was still showing age. The heat/AC unit was poorly reassembled after some apparent maintenance. Cracks in some shower tiles. The fitness center was not as pictured, with only one stationery bike that didn't work. Subbed with an eliptical which worked but the attached TV had problems with picture frequently pixellating. Staff was great and the breakfast was good.

Good family hotel.
Really nice hotel. The kids liked it better than Sheraton, because of the pool and the room (but let's not exagerate lol). The surroundings of the hotel are not attractive, not horrible. Breakfast has something for everyone. Not to far from the beach and the zoo.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The photos need to be updated. Prior to our arrival we were a little skeptical about the look of the room but wanted to stay due to location and having a pool. Our room was not ready at 4:30pm. check in is 3pm. We booked a handicap accessible room. You would think they would make sure that was ready in time. The kitchen had no gluten-free options for my daughter when asked. There was no milk for cereal at the breakfast buffet. None. They admitted they had no milk. Will not stay at this hotel again.

Property was really clean. Breakfast was really good. Location was perfect for our weekend at Seneca Park Zoo and Ontario Beach. The one negative was the bed was very uncomfortable (lumpy and hard).

All the staff encountered were very friendly and helpful. I'm a bit of a neat freak, so the condition of the room was not up to my standards. Some of the light fixtures didn't work, and they were dusty. The grout around the tub area was old and a little moldy, as was the caulking around the shower head cover that was not adequately secured to the wall.
