Everything is set up for an enjoyable evening until you are ready to call it a night. Unrestricted, dramatic views, and all of this beautiful living space within thousands of acres of hiking in open space that surrounds this 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom stunning chalet cabin.
Relax in front of the grand fireplace in the spacious, open living room. Gather with those you love around the large dining table or whip up a delicious meal in this fully equipped kitchen. Feeling a bit like escaping? Retire to one of the many thoughtfully designed and secluded spaces in the home. Doze off right on the sofa, or climb onto the higher floor for peaceful slumber on our King bed so you will be rested up for the next day's outdoor adventures. Challenge family and friends to a game of pool, chess, various table games, video games, and fun backyard games.
The master suite is truly its own getaway. Reclaimed fir beams and vintage fixtures adorn a relaxing, beautiful space. Make yourself a cup of tea or pour a glass of wine and enjoy it in front of your private fireplace. Soak in the tub in the en suite bathroom or step outside through your private sliding glass doors and enjoy the incredible Smoky Mountain beauty from your 5-person 21-Jets lounge-style hot tub.
For the little ones, we designed the space with them in mind: kid lounging and TV area, books, games, and their own bath and shower. This house offers the best mountain living. Enjoy the absolutely incredible views from the panoramic wrap-around deck with an outdoor dining area & grill, and if you want to get out into the nature that surrounds you, hike and/or bike on the trails just minutes away. Whatever you choose to do, this house delivers. The feeling of being here can only be understood by experiencing it! COVID-19 update: We take the safety of you and our employees very seriously. Our home is professionally cleaned and disinfected after each check out in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Public Health & Environment
Guest access:
- Guests will have access to the entire property: the cabin and all outdoor spaces including the patio, fire pit, and backyard.

- NO motorcycles or sports cars of any kind allowed, please park ALL sports car/loud/overflow vehicles/motorcycles at Rain-out Hang-out craft store (2.4 miles away at upper Tuskeegee & Fontana Rd, 35°24'45.0"N 83°43'25.5"W) for a small fee, please keep the speed down, do not reviving engine/disturb/wander at our neighbor's property, respect quiet hours of 8PM-10AM. Violation will be fined.
- Keyless entry makes it easy to check in and out and means you don't have to worry about losing or sharing keys: key code will be sent out 3 days before arrival. The physical key entry is also available upon request.
- Driving on steep mountain roads/under bad weather could be tricky, four-wheel-drive vehicle/experienced driver is recommended
- Guest(s) automatically accept hot tub rules in order to access, please see details in house rules
The utility room is not open to guests.
- Always bag your trash to protect wildlife, and do not trespass/wander into private property (creeks/trails etc.) in the neighborhood.

We are pleased to recommend local activities to add to your itinerary, and help you with any questions leading up to or during your stay.
Since we are in the higher elevation remote/rural area, nature is right outside your front door, you might hear and see wildlife and bugs.
No worries if you wanna work remotely! Starlink wifi speed is up to 200mbps, which is the fastest option in this rural area. You will be able to do music/video streaming and conference calls. Internet speed/signal might be interrupted by weather and/or other conditions. What’s more, we've also installed a cell signal booster, most cell carrier could get signal for call/texting. We recommend you pre-download maps, movies, and books for your convenience.
While we do everything to ensure comfort and convenience, please comply with our house rules:
- Speed Limit is 18 MPH on Samcove Rd, 30 MPH on S Fork Rd.
- No fireworks, A fire in a fire pit must be attended to and supervised by an adult at all times. No Smoking/Vaping, $600 penalty for unauthorized smoking will be charged.
- No food in bedrooms, violations will result in $200 penalty. Thank you for keeping clean and taking care of the property, run dishwasher before check out, excessive dirty/damages will result in $200 minimum fines.
- Check in time: 4 PM, Check out time: 10 AM. No exception to Check-in and Check-out times unless discussed with us in advance.
- Registered Guests Only. 8th and 9th beds are twin size rollaway beds
- Pet Policy
- Quiet Hour: 8 PM-10 AM
- Bunk bed weight limit: up to 125lb for upper bunk, 200lb for lower bunk
- This chalet is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper
- Since we are the only property in the community listed for rent and most neighbors are the elderly, please protect our secluded environment and respect our quiet hours between 8PM-10AM. No outdoor music. Noise level monitor enforced 24/7 to prevent parties and excessive noises. No fireworks. A fire in fire pit must be attended to and supervised by an adult at all times. No drones over neighbor's property. If the event is kept going after the warning, we will not hesitate to call 911, the reservation will be immediately ended and all guests will be evicted at guests’ expense.
