This is a wonderful place and I would like to have given it 5 stars but while I was eating breakfast there was a strong smell of a cleaning product ( like Fabuloso) coming from a room off the breakfast area. So strong that it made it difficult to finish my breakfast. Then as I returned to my room and there were many other rooms being cleaned that same smell was everywhere! I, like many people, are highly sensitive to harsh cleaning products. It burns our sinuses and eyes and sometimes affects our lungs. These products are not good for anyone to be exposed to- cleaning staff included! I could only notice it while they were cleaning, so if you stay here I highly suggest you have breakfast and check out before 8 or 9 when all the cleaning begins.

We had a one bedroom suite and it was spacious and comfortable. There is only one elevator and it’s in the middle of the long long building. I didn’t like all the plexiglass shielding at the reception desk. The fitness room is minimally equipped.

The hotel was a great value, although we did have an issue with our keys not working on either room the second night. Turns out the hotel only had us down for one night even though we had paid for two. Then, on the morning of check out, we were taking out stuff to the car hours before “check out” only to find the cleaning lady in our room when we got back, already having gotten our food out of the fridge (I was coming back for that). No apologies for any of that.

The beds were hard. The bathroom was cold when it was time to shower. There were two hotel clerks. When I first came in, the man was in charge and he was not professional. We had no idea that we had to let them hold $50 on a credit card until we got there. The dining area was clean and the food was OK. I don’t think we will stay again.
