Narcissus, The Royal Hotel in Riyadh, presents an impressive investment in luxurious rooms with advanced technology, but the service and hospitality fall drastically short of five-star standards. The hotel suffers from poor management and an untrained staff that fails to deliver even basic levels of professionalism and guest care. Communication with guests is neglected, and in my experience, the guest relations team displayed rudeness and a lack of professionalism, with no proper communication follow-up!
The check-in process was chaotic, handled by unresponsive and inexperienced front desk staff, leading to room access issues due to mismanagement. Despite When I requested to speak with a manager, I was left waiting more than 15 minutes without even showing up, highlighting a significant lack of attention and responsiveness from the management team.
Furthermore, numerous small but critical details were overlooked, from the substandard quality of the food and beverage offerings to the unresponsive room service. The overall experience was far below what is expected of a five-star hotel. Regrettably, this was my last stay, and I cannot recommend Narcissus The Royal Hotel to others. The establishment requires substantial improvements in service quality, staff training, and management responsiveness to align with its luxurious image.
