I did not know you had construction going on so there was no parking. It was a few blocks away but no one said any except the day before I checked in. Then they still charged $30.00 for self-parking or valet. The breakfast was good.

It was a nice place to stay. Riverside has a ton of homeless and the staff made sure to keep their lobby safe. They also worked with me on the keeping the same room even though I had booked the nights separately. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Parking is $29 a night even if you park yourself, which is pretty high, but I utilized valet parking and they were awesome.

Great location, with lots of walkable attractions and dining. Hotel was quiet and room was spacious. Mattress was a bit on the springy side but we got a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was good but missing fresh fruit, and they closed at 9am, which seems a bit early. We only stayed 2 nights, so I can't comment on housekeeping, which needs to be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

Limited parking, you have to park in a parking garage which is a short walk from the hotel but not super convenient. Market street on which the hotel resides is quite loud on Friday and Saturday nights, including 2 AM motorcycle races that echoed off the buildings. The room we stayed in needed some cosmetic improvements, particularly in the bathroom. The homeless population around the hotel is a consideration, not necessarily a concern.

After check in, we discovered the toilet was clogged. We reported it to the front desk (twice). They said they would attempt fixing it, but no one ever came. We called again and they told us the maintenance person had gone home. They said they were sold out and could not offer us another room. Unacceptable.
