Come experience the farm life as you stay in our newly transformed riverside cottage, located on an 1800s farmstead along the Kinnickinnic River. Enjoy direct access to the river, fun and productive farm animals, and kayaks and fly-fishing gear available for rent!
This listing is for rental of both units, named Abide and Dwell. For rental of only one unit please visit individual listings. Units are equipped with king beds, plush linens and towels, fully stocked kitchenettes, beautiful riverfront views, reading nooks, patios and more! Each unit has an artfully crafted bathroom; the Abide unit featuring a soaker tub/shower wet room. The Dwell unit has a comfy pull-out sleeper sofa.
The cottage features its own private driveway and parking pad. Each unit can be accessed by using a keypad lock system located on the main entrance off individual patios. Your unique keycode will be sent to you the day of check-in and expire upon check-out.
Our newest on-site amenity is an Amish built, Nordic Style, Wood-Burning Sauna! Guests of the Kinni Cottage now have access to the tradition of the Nordic Cycle. The practice of participating in the heat of a sauna followed by a cold plunge in the nearby Kinni River.
As an operating farm with caretakers on-site, you have the opportunity to collect fresh eggs, pick seasonal produce and herbs, and choose from a variety of farm products from Green Pastures Family Farm and neighboring farms. (Farm product availability varies with season) Paddle the upper Kinnickinnic River right into River Falls from the farm. Or just find a place to unwind and watch the days go by. We hope that all enjoy this farm as a place to slow down, and to abide and dwell in this beautiful slice of Creation. We truly look forward to being your host!
Guests have access to the operating farm, barn, trails, grounds, and gardens. The caretaker's home, garage, and driveway are kept private.
The caretakers aka Alexa and Scott (Hi!), live on-site and are happy to have conversations, answer questions about farm animals, river adventures, etc. We believe in the art and value of genuine hospitality. We do respect each guest's personal preference when it comes to connecting. If you see us around the farm, please say hello!
