Basic accommodation so I'm not expecting much. Very close to Copacabana beach and restaurants. I wish they had at least a microwave oven in the rooms, or told me there is one in the reception I can use. Some cleaning is needed on the sink and shower. Its got some dark molds. Disgusting.

Good hotel
This hotel is very well located. If you’re looking for a budget hotel where you just one to have a decent room, select this one. I always choose based on location as I am not spending too much time in room rather to sleep and bath. The beds are not confy at all, very hard... but nothing to suffer, that’s all. They included breakfast but honestly didn’t has the chance to see what they offered.

Typical Ibis Budget room: fairly small, no real place to put your luggage, but good bed, air conditionong, and Wi-Fi. Good price for the area. One English-language channel (CNN) on the TV. No cups in the room: have to get salll ones from the coffe machine in the lobby. Good location in Copacabana.

Staff is very friendly. Check in took some time though and the power went out twice. Our key cards didn't work the first time so had to go back down. The room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. Location is also great, just 3 blocks from the beach. There are restaurants, stores, and pharmacies in the vicinity. There are always people about and seemed safe even at night. I'd definitely stay here again.

Budget accommodation for Copacabana beach
Expected a budget hotel and got exactly that. Rooms quite cramped and no toiletries provided except for soap. However the price was good for Rio and the heart of Copacabana beach is 10 min walk away so it is worthwhile
