Villa Confresi is a great place to stay in Rincon. The downside for us: the door to our room (#108) faced the bar/restaurant area—tables literally 20 feet away from our bed—there was loud music and conversation until 11:00 pm each night. This was extremely annoying and was mitigated only by the sound of surf. If you decide to stay there, request a room at a distance from the central bar/restaurant area!

We had a wonderful experience at Villa Cofresi! The staff is warm and welcoming, and we loved being right on the water! Our room was an updated deluxe king with an ocean view. It was great to sit out on the small terrace and watch the sunset. The pool is small, but we loved swimming in the ocean so much, it didn’t really matter to us. We did see a lot of guests with smaller children enjoying it.

Don’t ever stay in the rooms on the ground level by the restaurant or bar. They’re horribly noisy from 5:30am until after 2am. Rooms are old, dirty, and the sheets and mattresses are the type that make you wish the floor was clean enough to sleep on it. There is a beach, of sorts, next to the hotel but it’s really small and the waves are pretty harsh. Maybe this would be a good place to stay for a family? They probably are already loud so they’d feel comfortable being as loud as they want since everyone else is. Just don’t go here expecting a nice, luxury hotel.

Just book it! The location is literally on the beach and they pay attention to every detail! Nicely decorated for Christmas was a bonus. Food is great, drinks are great, views are great! Always a chair available for lounging. Definitely a must book!
