We had to switch rooms. The carpet next to AC unit was soaking wet. We let the front desk know and left for the day. Came back and nothing had been done. Everytime we went to the front desk, there was never anyone there.

Upset. I hope people see this and are turned off.
I am 83 years old and I have a broken right arm. I asked for a handicap room and two different male employees said they didn’t have any available. That same day a female employee saw me and told me they did have handicap room available. Why should this happen???

I just think for the price the hotel, room could use a bit of professional remodeling. Carpet in the elevator could be easily changed, the rooms pillows and sheets could be newer. Staff was epic they make up for it all. These are reasons it’s hard to stay in hotels versus Airbnb’s. You spend so much for a night and walk into a hotel that should be advertised as a motel and be about $50 a night. I hope this is taken as constructive feedback. Not a complain but encouragement to spend a little on improving more of the establishment. I mean the carpet in an elevator that can’t be too expensive to change or make it tile for easy cleaning

This property is in desperate need of an upgrade. Especially for what I paid to stay there. I didn’t feel extremely safe so I didn’t sleep well. Each time I used the elevator, it creaked and smelled of burning oil.

The front desk person was helpful. I had booked two nights, and tried to cancel the second night (@7:30... Didn't realize the cancellation time was by 7). I kept getting notes from hotels.com that they were trying to cancel. BECAUSE I was paying at the hotel, the desk clerk just charged me for the one night. Hotels.com said they were never able to get the hotel to drop the night, so I'm not sure where that fell through, but I am grateful they only charged me for one night. Everything about the room was fine, except it didn't seem very fresh... There was a slight odor. Perhaps folks were smoking nearby (against hotel policy). It wasn't overbearing, but not fresh. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. Overall very nice, but the lack of fresh air will keep me from returning.
