This was our 2nd stay. Our previous stay was a year ago during their opening, and their desire to meet our needs, coupled with a great location made it an easy decision to return there for a downtown festival.

At check in we were clearly explained how to get to our room. An employee noticed i use a wheelchair and offered us a closer room to the entrance. Although it wasnt necessary we appreciated the offer. Room was clean the bed very comfortable and the tv had exceptional channel selections. Great room. Balcony with two chairs as well.

Low allergen and clean
The room didn't have carpet, so that was nice in terms of having a nice clean floor and low allergen room. I found it a nice feature except I do feel the need to "wipe" my feet on a rug before getting into bed. Especially since we carried some sand into the room in our clothes from some beach combing on the Michigan shoreline, and there was no broom for sweeping up. Room was quiet, cool and clean. Close to our favorite eatery, T.C's Deli. Great location for exploring downtown. Plenty of parking.

This hotel is newly renovated and very conveniently located in downtown Rhinelander. Walkable from the restaurants in downtown and just down the street from the main drag. Pleasant stay, had a good breakfast offering, clean room and had great customer service. My only nit-picky critiques are that the hotel room floor could use a good mop, the gym needs better airflow/a plugged in AC unit as well as disinfecting wipes or spray to clean the equipment with. Overall, nice hotel stay and would recommend.

Facility was clean, rooms were clean. New laminate flooring is a nice touch. When the property was remodeled recently, elongated toilet bowls were used in the guest bathrooms where the facility was originally designed for round bowl toilets - they had to angle them to get the bathroom doors to close, pushing you into the vanity. In the lobby restroom, the plumbing to flush the urinals was not redone properly during the remodel, & the facility has water shut off to the urinals, so they don't flush and the restroom smells terribly of stale urine.

I didn't like the mattress. Kind of old and lumpy. But i have a bad hip. Husband said it was fine for him but could be better. We'll stay again as the location is ideal for us. Room was very clean.

I have stayed in better hotels, but not in Rhinelander. Much need remodel was a success. Premier location, to me at least: Hodag Park--5 minute drive 15 min walk; Pioneer Park--4 minute drive, 12 minute walk, High School and Hodag Dome--7 minute drive, 15 min walk.
