Staying at Hlemmur Suites made our Iceland vacation truly unforgettable. The property’s prime location near stop number 9 for tour pickups and main attractions allowed us to explore Reykjavik with ease, with local sights, eateries, and a supermarket all within walking distance. The accommodations were impeccably clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it perfect for warming up after a day in the chilly Icelandic weather. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like soft blankets, reliable radiator heating, and fast internet. The spacious living area and television made downtime comfortable, while the washer/dryer in the room was a lifesaver for our extended stay. The host went above and beyond, kindly switching us to a similar room with a stunning sea view. This personalized attention, along with the comfortable amenities, elevated our experience. Hlemmur is a very neat, clean and newly remodeled modern suite. It is self service, meaning there is no lobby to check in. You will receive access codes online, so make sure you receive them before your stay. We could not check in until late afternoon, so we had to rent a storage locker at the bus station and arrange for it to be transported later. This was a bit of an inconvenience so just be aware if you are flying in early in the morning. The suites are near a food court with a variety of great foods. It is a in a good location. It is a short walk to the harbor for aurora watching and shopping in town. Due to road construction and closures, there was some confusion with taxis finding us. We felt safe and very comfortable at Hlemmur. Communication with Hlemmur Suites was also very good with quick and helpful replies. We highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Access was simple and straightforward. Room was clean. We used the kitchenette for breakfast. There is a 24/7 market nearby where we bought foodstuffs. The outside construction made access a little inconvenient. Looks like the city was upgrading underground utilities. Good place to stay otherwise.

Very clean, and beautiful appartment. Everything you need in one spot. Just didn’t find instructions on where to find extra toilet paper, sheets for pullout couch, or towels. I'm sure it's there somewhere, i just overlooked it. Very nice place to stay, that is close to downtown, and the rainbow road.

I would like to say that this was a nice place and well worth the money in very expensive Reykjavik. The directions to place were not clearly updated with current major construction in the area which was very frustrating. Even our local cab driver could not make out where we were staying. The television was not hooked up, and considering it was relying on client to use their own Netflix or YouTube accounts, it made for no service. When we contacted the owner we were assured someone would take of it first thing in the morning. Never done! So two nights with no TV…not earth shattering but part of the price of room. I asked for a price adjustment to accommodate for this and have been ignored. I guess they have enough business.

Great property. A lot of shopping and dining options around. Very well maintained. Parking is a bit of walk from the unit. There is no area to drop off luggage due to construction.
