I was having a good experience with the hotel as the staff was friendly and area was quiet, until the last night when I found black mold on the air vents of the air conditioning unit. If I had seen it earlier I would have demanded a new room or a full refund. I only came upon it because I went to put a pair of jeans near by on the chair to air out before I wore it the next morning to the airport. Also I do recall coughing a couple nights prior, but blamed it on the cold weather. I spoke to the staff attendant when I checked out and he said he couldn't give me a refund as I booked my stay through a third party. I responded by saying that I would be writing to their corporate office. When my health is on the line in the case of pure negligence to clean the vents I really don't want a free future booking I want a full refund to my card. To think I took out insurance for this stay thinking about all other risk possibilities other than exposure to black mold.

Reston hotel
Nice room, friendly staff. And they had a shuttle that would take you with in 2 miles of the hotel. Particularly convenient for restaurant access to the train and other local shopping.

This hotel is perfectly serviceable. My room was well-served; the bathroom was fine. It had a fairly antiseptic vibe; could use some updating. It's located right off the highway and is convenient to the airport.

Overall, I was happy with the stay and have stayed here before. Two items however, the first night rate was $120 higher than my second night which I thought was exorbitant. Second, the restaurant was staffed with 1 server/bartender to serve over 12 people on average throughout a 2 1/2 hour period.
