October 2024, leisure, family traveling with 2 teenagers. Rooms were dated but spacious and clean. Plenty of room! Bed was comfortable. There wasn’t any fan in the room for air circulation or white noise (just a unit on the wall to control temp). We were woken up at 3am by a loud ruckus of people fighting and talking in the street below. This continued for about an hour! It’s not the hotels fault, but, the hotel was definitely located in a bit of a shady area at night time. Having a fan in the room could’ve helped to drown out the noise outside. We checked in around 9pm and you had to be let in to the lobby area and the parking garage. Locked otherwise. Hotel was located at the end of a dark street. In the morning, we noticed that it seemed much safer and was located near the river walk area. Just very shady at night time!

It's totally outside the control of mgmt, but the area can be a bit noisy at night and there are homeless folks on the streets. The flip side to that is the area is super walkable and fun with beautiful riverside development and lots of good eateries nearby.

I like the feel of the Plaza- it has good ambiance, is quiet, clean and centrally located. We did have an A/C problem-in both rooms we had 1506 and 1508 set the thermo to 70 and the room was 77/80 at best. I love the pool. Made the reservation in July - was sad to see that the price had come down $50/night the day before our stay.

The property is dated at best, from dark and old trim work to popcorn textured ceilings. The room was a mixed bag; good mattress, cheap sheets and pillows. The hotel is understaffed; a single evening clerk, no evening housekeeping, and no regular night clerk. Our room wasn't made up during the day without apology or explanation.

The room was spacious and clean. The elevator inside the building ran smooth and fast but the sliding door needed attention. The bed was comfortable. The parking was a little odd.
