Attended a wedding in Welch, MN. Didnt want to pay over $300 at the casino for a room, so booked here and was not disappointed. Property was clean, updated, still smelled new, good breakfast. The town of Cannon Falls had cute spots for lunch, shops, and a local winery and brewery. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place, house keeping friendly, Manager and front desk persons not friendly, felt bad for an older gentleman asking for milk at the free breakfast and was told there was none, he ate cereal dry! No coffee, milk or juice available at the breakfast. Beautiful and quiet building.

Slow check in
Check-in was kind of terrible. There was a huge line to one 35-40 minutes to get checked in and there were four people in front of us. The lady was never taught how to check in third party booking, and kind of was poor on leadership as just was by herself. If you know the Friday and Saturday check in is going to be your busiest time then you should have 2 people, if your short staff then management should be there to help instead of leaving the new girl by herself.

Water at property was off, so we were unable to check in until after our event, Needed to change clothes in a gas station bathroom. Note left inside all rooms said everone would be getting a discount, but housekeeping staff checking people in and out didn't know how to do this. Housekeeping staff extremely nice and apologetic. Provided contact info for manager. Manager extremely rude, hostile, and argumentative, not so much as one apology from manager. Very sad when untrained housekeeping staff present with more professionalism than a manager, as they attempt to do a job that wasn't even their responsibility.
