Au Domnatur fair review
Amazing location right in the heart of the national park so a really good spot to be based from.
The high level bungalows are a steep 5-7 minute walk from reception. Advantages - great views across the rainforest canopies / Disadvantages - not at all suitable for those with accessibility needs and quite basic furnishings but to be honest we only used them to sleep in.
Included breakfast was very good and wholesome.
We only ate there one night for dinner and whilst convenient if you’re tired, there are better places in the village 5 minutes ride away.
Very old bungalow, badly maintained. Lovely surroundings and view. It hasn't the swimming pool advertised on the internet. Nice staff. We didn't eat, just had breakfast, and it was correct. They charge more taxes (4000A/night) than the tourist one (1000 A/night) indicated in the reservation.

I got the dates wrong - I wanted 5th of July next year but put in 5th July yesterday and didn't realise my mistake - we're still in Australia!
The hotel is in the NP, that makes it convenient but other than that. Our bungalow smelt very musty, it had a small refrigerator but it didn’t even have a cord to plug it in. The lamp had no bulb, the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. A very old location which has been poorly maintained over many years.

Ranomafana honeymoon trip
Wonderful location, great views and excellent service. Big breakfast with fruit, pancakes, bread & jam and omelette.
Bathroom needed some maintenance (no shower fixing and shower tray leaked). Tap water does come out brown sometimes.
Lots of wildlife visible in the grounds too. Overall we were glad we stayed here for 3 nights.

The views are awesome and the big glassdoors and balcony help with enjoying the scenery. The garden is very nice. Yet, in our first bungalow the toilet had problems, the lights flickered, the mattress was lumpy and the fridge didn't work. So, we changed to another bungalow. The fridge again didn't work, but the rest was ok. Parking was kind of insecure just next to the busy road. Dinner and breakfast were ok. Plus points for the service to bring tea to the room and organise a guide.

We stayed two nights in two rooms while visiting the National park. The rooms look out onto the forest and have balconies where you can relax and enjoy the view. It is a short drive to the village and the National Park. The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was good - especially breakfast. Sadly the damage caused by cyclones over the last two years mean some rooms are still being repaired and the pool is out of order. I was upgraded to a junior suite which was very comfortable.
The smell of mold, the rotted deck boards, the breakfast (American) was 45,000 Ar vs other (better) hotels at 18,000 Ar. So very disappointed, we woke up early in order to leave immediately.

The bungalows are spacious and have wonderful views across the valley. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk to the village, well worth it for the views and peaceful ambience.

The staff here were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and attentive, arranging or helping with many things, including our onward travel. Food was excellent. The location and setting were superb, immersed in the forest and close to the park entrance. The hotel lets itself down with a disappointing 'tiredness' and lack of maintenance. This, however, did not spoil our experience here and we would happily visit again.
Great views from the bungalows! This place looks good, rooms as well however the bathroom is run down, having said that the shower still was nice and hot. Overall it could do with a bit of updating but still we had a nice experience and thought the overall reviews are a bit too negative. Nice staff and nothing beats these views!
The staff met us with pineapple juice and carried our luggage to our bungalow. The view from our room was incredible!!! Some may find the WiFi slow but you shouldn’t worry about that, the view makes up for it!!!

Mooie ligging, eenvoudige bungalows, vriendelijk personeel, lekker eten. Nu nog zorgen voor betere matrassen en meer water uit douche
You do it for the nature and the kind people in the accommodation. We had a great view in hut 9. You have to do some climbing down (stairs) to get there, but that is worth it. The accommodation itself is really bed. The cushion were not cleaned at all, the mattress was completely worn down. So don’t do it for the comfort. The food we had here was better than in hotel thermal.
Los bungalows estaba a 200 m. de altitud de la recepción, con escalones de piedra. Las paredes tenian rendijas entre cada madera. Las ventanas no cerraban. El mobiliario consistia en cama, mesa camilla no cubierta y una silla. No habia agua caliente.
