Great Getaway
The Whynot is a great house just outside of downtown Rangeley so everything is with close distance from the house. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. We had eight people staying in the house which made it a little tight in the living/kitchen area when everyone is together. I think it's a perfect house for three couples. It was disappointing that we couldn't access the snowmobile trails from the house but understand that Mother Nature has been tough on the area. Hopefully, the access trails will be fixed before next season and above all else, get some snow!! We really enjoyed our stay at the Whynot and would stay there again.

Perfect spot to unwind in
Instructions and updates were very detailed, and all questions were promptly answered. The house is very high quality, spacious, and was sparkling clean. The wall of windows in particular is amazing, both for the passive heating it gave as well as the nice views of the lake you can get while standing mostly anywhere in the house. The location was central to all of the area's attractions. The way the home is set up makes it versatile for a wide variety of ages and numbers of guests. Definitely recommend.

A-MAZING
We absolutely LOVED this house and view. We have never returned to any of our VBRO houses because there are so many beautiful places to see. But we decided we will definitely be back to this house and Rangeley, Maine. Town is so cute. View is so amazing--sunset especially. We took some hikes, went to lunch in town and relaxed on the deck and in the yard.

Winter Vacation
Myself and 6 friends recently stayed at Camp Whynot for our annual snowmobiling vacation and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Three separate floors of living space provided plenty of room for all seven of us. Each floor had it's own bathroom, with showers, which was very nice. There were 5 beds, and 2 futons, which provided everyone in our group with their own comfortable bed to sleep on. The main living area was big enough for everyone to relax after a day of riding. There was a leaf that we were able to install into the dining room table to allow for all of us to eat together. The house was very easy to access, which in the winter time with unpredictable weather and trailers to pull, was a nice bonus. Plus the driveway had plenty of room for parking multiple trucks and sled trailers. The house was conveniently located just up the street from downtown Rangeley, and all the shops, hardware store, dealerships, and the IGA for all of our shopping needs. To access the main trail system did require us to navigate through a combination of roads, and boondocking through the woods. There are directions on the fridge that were very clear and easy to understand and after navigating that path a couple of times, you can easily remember your way to and from the house to the trail, but it does take a little while to get onto the main trail, which for us that was not an issue at all. Overall this house was great and had everything we needed for a great week of riding, relaxing, and breath taking views of Rangeley Lake. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be staying here again on future trips. The staff at Morton and Furbish were amazing to work with and very responsive to our questions and needs leading up to the trip. They also provided us a ton of useful information ahead of time so we were felt we were well prepared for our stay, and how to make the most of the time we had in Rangeley!

Beautiful and cozy cabin with Great Lake views. We went for snowmobiling - the connector trails were up the street so we could leave right from the house . We had to break trail in order to get to main trails but it was very easy. Definitely would stay here again.
