Quiet artist home with private patio, views of Taos mountain, and wood-burning fireplace. Spacious. Comfortable king bed, full bath, washer/dryer, and stove. Large smart tv with sectional couch. Brand new appliances. Incredible 360 views from outside your front door, 4 miles to trailhead overlooking cliffs of the Rio Grande. Now has A/C.

This place was warm, cozy and felt like home!
We had an amazing stay at this charming artist studio in Taos. The space was cozy, private, and had a creative energy that made it perfect for relaxing and finding inspiration. The beautiful garden was a highlight, offering a serene spot to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the breathtaking sunsets. Read listing carefully - NO A/C!
Just stayed here for 4 nights. Property was as pictured and very tastefully decorated. Garden area had lovely flowers and was peaceful. Bed was comfortable. A word of caution; there is no A/C. You will find this detail in the listing under “Laundry.” Also, under “amenities” it lists a fireplace/stove for heat and makes no mention of how it cools. Upon opening the door I saw an oscillating fan turned on and knew we were screwed. Yep, no thermostat on the wall! There was a helpful note taped on the window that stated “the NM sky is your cool air.” Went on to instruct the windows be open at night and closed during the day to “trap” the air. It was a hot week. The host provided a second box fan to help us out. But, this 54 yo old gal does not sleep well in the heat and it was hot! Not only that allergies were awful w the windows open. To add insult to injury dogs accross the street bark all time. Today they started at 5:40AM. Clear as a bell w the windows open to get my natural A/C. Minor gripe, 2 rolls of TP for 2 adults and 4 nights. We bought some and donated it. Also, while there are 360 views they are NOT from the courtyard. There are houses on 2 sides and walls and a fence and bushes. Nice place, location, pretty too. But, accidental omission in listing at best or misleading/lacking info. at worst. I see the listing is still not corrected so who knows… Lesson learned, I will verify this going forward. Rented in Taos before and always had A/C.

Short but sweet stay in Taos
We were really happy with our short stay in this studio. Really comfortable, lovely, quiet neighborhood & nice courtyard with a view of the surrounding landscape to enjoy our morning coffee. Recommended.

On our favorites list!
What a beautiful, peaceful, place to stay! I wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy this space. All comforts are available here and being in an adobe made the trip. This was our first trip to NM and Taos and we would love to come back. I will be hard pressed to find a better location, views and retreat. The bonus was being visited by the owner’s cat late afternoon each day when we got home. I am a cat lover and appreciate her beauty, friendliness and grace.

A gem in Taos
We loved our stay here. It was definitely one of the best stays we've had--the studio was comfortable, cozy, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was close to everything we wanted to see in Taos and we honestly didn't want to leave. We'll be back.
