Worst accomodation i have ever 'nearly' stayed in.
To start with, we had to contact both travel nest and vrbo, just to get the access codes, as the host was not answering texts and calls. Both travel nest and vrbo were very helpful. We finally got the code, 3 hours before check in, and half hour before travelling. On entering the property, it felt cold and the bed linen felt damp, the whole house was dusty and dirty, and although we were a party of four, there were only 3 chairs in the dining area. The kitchen was poorly equipped, and the only bathroom, downstairs was thru the kitchen and again cold and dank. This property was described as 'beautiful' unfortunately it was so far from it, we had to find last minute accomodation elsewhere. If vrbo and travel nest continue to advertise this property, be warned it is not a 'beautiful' 4 bed house, just a four bed house, with no living room and barely any kitchen/diner, BEWARE

Unfortunately our stay in this Ramsgate property was a major let down. Online the house had looked to be of a good standard and seemed to have all that we needed. However in reality this was not the case. Firstly, the cleanliness of the house left a lot to be desired. The kitchen was dirty - on the stove is a frying pan with the remains of food and a bone on the grill. There was also a bag of dirty laundry which had been left there. The bathroom was dirty and unhygienic - the bath had mould and there was a cracked sink. We also saw a cockroach in the toilet. The back door of the property was locked and no key was supplied to get out into the garden. Surely this was a health and safety hazard in the event of something like a fire. The beds were adequate but the mattresses were not of the greatest quality or comfort. We were supposed to be given towels but there were not enough for all of us. There was also rubbish that had been dumped directly outside the front of the house. To add, we were usually unable to speak properly with the property owner except by text. They said that they would sort out all of the issues (send someone to take away the dirty laundry etc) but no-one ever came to do this. When I did manage to speak directly with the owner they were brief and rude in their manner - is this a way to treat paying customers? This leads me to the matter of cost - way too much for the standard and quality of the accommodation. Definitely avoid!
