I absolutely LOVE Hyatt southpoint! It’s my go to when visiting my son who’s in college in NC. I’m not too close to campus and not too far. The mall is nearby and so are a lot of great dining options. The staff there is AMAZING! They are always kind & so accommodating to me! I appreciate this Hyatt it feels like HOME

We stayed in the suite. It had a big kitchen, but it was mostly useless since it didn't come with anything in it. Seriously, there were about 8 empty cabinets and drawers. No soap, paper towels, dishes or anything.

Inadequate parking
The stay was mostly unremarkable. I generally choose Hyatt when I am traveling, although this is the first time I have stayed at this particular one. My only frustration with this hotel was the parking. It was hard to determine which parking was actually the hotel’s, and I was warned to not park in the parking lots of the neighboring Aldi and restaurant. When I arrived back around 10 pm from dinner and a movie, all of the spots at the hotel were occupied, so I had to park in one of the furthest Aldi spots, worried that my rental car may get cited or something. I got up and moved the car the next morning before I checked out. They need to annex more spaces or do something else.
