I had seen very mixed reviews online so I wasn't sure what to expect but we had a great time here! The breakfast is a fairly limited serve-yourself selection but it's sufficient. They seem to have taken on the feedback from other reviews: there was no smell and the lobby/room seemed like they'd had a recent refresh. I also saw signs saying they're in the process of a carpet cleaning programme which I imagine improves things. Yes there is only one lift but it's really not a problem. I would say that for the price and location it can't be beaten! Maybe we got lucky but I can honestly say we had no issues, it's a very pleasant place to stay :)

Was a fine hotel for a night or two. It has a good location in the city convenient to everything. The hotel room itself was clean and nothing special. The bed was good. The lobby had a strange smell and one of the elevators were out of order so it made for waiting for the elevator to take a while at checkout especially. But it was a good spot in the city when you’re not spending a bunch of time there or long periods.

Great location, but would never stay here again. My room smelled like very strong cologne and not clean. Bathrooms are tiny and no fan! Lights are a weird yellow tint. The mattress had large indentations, Like sleeping in a hole. In dire need for updates, feels like stepping back 30 years. Don’t stay here.

We reserved a king room and was given a queen. When I asked the front desk person she argued with me even though I showed her the reservation. Was incredibly noisy outside so between the smaller bed and noise we did not sleep well at all. Housekeeping did an excellent job both days we were there and overall the hotel seemed clean but dated.

Lobby and hallways had a terrible smell. Luckily our room did not. An elevator was out leaving one working elevator for the whole hotel and we were not advised of this upon check in.

Not so friendly front desk staff, experienced 2 different staff on two occasions. One elevator out of service Used to have a nice restaurant with a view, for breakfast, now simple hand-held items and coffee, right next to the front desk. Overall unsatisfactory. I get the impression that the AC has taken the guests away and this place is just a shell of a 2 star now.

Hotel employees were great. Friendly and helpful. The hotel itself needs some major improvement. Smell of sewage in the lobby. Only one elevator working. (Which I’ve heard is a common occurrence) Lastly, none of the TVs worked. I was in town with 5 other coworkers and none of their TVs worked.
