Self contained in Queenstown Tasmania
A comfortable 2 night stay to explore Queenstown, Tasmania. About 750m from the main town centre our room had a small kitchenette which was well appointed for our needs. Room is a good size, a bit tired in places and the shower squeals whenever it is being run (in our room anyway)but it didn't affect the operation and water was hot. Checkin was done via lockbox codes and the housekeeping staff were friendly and happy. Pleasant and comfortable

The property, like most motels, is old and dated but clean. Perhaps replacing the curtains in favour of roller blinds, getting rid of the bath shower combination to a shower only with a single glass. A bigger TV might be something to think about.

The Gold Rush Inn was very clean, spacious room, easy parking, surrounding area was nice & clean & tidy. Don’t expect the reception to be opened too often or if at all. Communication was good. Would recommend

Not a new property but great care and pride has been taken to provide excellent accommodation at a very moderate cost. Rooms are spacious and very well furnished and equiped including the kitchenette.

Not many places to stay in Queenstown. We were happy with our choice. We went on a Cruise at Strahan, so I would definitely suggest to stay in Strahan. The road to Strahan is windy. Otherwise, this motel is clean and comfortable.

Friendly Queenstown
Easy checkin and a warm welcome. The room was clean and had a small kitchen. There was an on site restaurant that you could order a takeaway meal from. There was also a laundry which was great. The motel was close to the town centre.

This is a classic oldstyle Australian hotel. Staying there made us really feel Queenstown. Parking is easy, facilitias are very generous, dinner at the hotel's restaurant is unique. Highly recommended
