Good for overnight stay.

The check in took longer then expected. But it was fine considering we only booked in excess of 2 hours before arriving. The room was clean, typical dorm room. It was HOT. But thats expected in a dorm in the summer. Its good for the price if you just need to sleep.

The property area is easy to navigate around and is only 20 minutes from "old Quebec City." This part of the city is magical, especially with Chateau Frontenac in the background. The buildings the rooms are in are confusing to navigate. The building looks like it was built or renovated in the 1970s and hasn't seen a new piece of furniture or paint since that time. The rooms are small, which I didn't mind. There were 2 beds in my room. One was a Captain's bed and the other a tradional bed with a spring mattress lower to the floor. The decor was outdated and the furniture was old. The room was unbearably hot. I would not recommend this place. The noise in the hallway is crazy due to the thin walls. The doors used to enter the hallways open and close with a prison stuff clank that echoes down the hall to every room. The staff and students on campus are the only redeeming feature of this type of accommodation. If it weren't for the students I've encountered, or the staff working the front desk I would have given this place a worse score.

We booked double room and one bed was not comfortable at all. Whole building did not have air conditioner and even not has a fan during the summer time. We stayed that day was 30 degree outside. It was not really happy stay empierce. We know that University summer accommodations can be save some money, But it's not worth it.

A very funky smell in the room. Travelling partner across the hall had no smell in his room. No AC so hot. If you get the room by the hall entrance like I did ask to be moved. Noisy and smelly! For the money ok I guess.

The rooms had a strong unpleasant smell, which really affected the comfort of our stay and while the amenities were well maintained, they were shared, which wasn’t ideal. The check-in process was also quite slow. Overall, not the best experience.

I appreciated the affordable price of the stay. However, our room was located next to the toilet, and we could occasionally hear a loud noise when the sink was used at night. While the sheets looked clean, they had a noticeable human scent. I also didn’t receive clear instructions on how to collect the keys, such as which pavilion to go to or how to reach the reception without already having a key.
