Hôtel parfait pour la famille. Seul bémol, c’est que les chambres sont dues pour être rénovées. Plusieurs prises électriques ne fonctionnaient pas, le bain / douche est plutôt mal en point (moisissures), l’équipement général est vieillissant.

Could have been a little cleaner. The comforter on our bed was yellowed and the fans in and around the bathroom were very dusty. The staff was very polite and professional.

Great location. Walking distance to three malls. Easy drive to the Videotron Center. Pool was beautiful, hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Parking lot was large. Restaurant was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed. Fireplace did not work, room needed o be updated. Very tiny balcony. Soap missing in bathroom. Very badly insulated we heard everyone and everything that went on in the hallway. On the positive, the room was clean. Very unlikely that we would return. Not enough value for the money spent

Beware ! Stay away from room 220
Oh goodness, where to start...black-out curtains were ripped and hung pitifully, could hardly close them, the room smelled of mildew, the toilet tank was seriously leaking which prompted the tank to fill up every 9 minutes, shower wouldn't start so had to call maintenance, high tub was difficult to access and dangerously slippery, shower vent was disgustingly dirty, towel holder was broken off and hanging poorly. Decided to try the pool but by the time one finds its way to the hotel through the badly lit construction zone and closed roads, the check-in is after 5 PM, you still need to find a parking space, grab a bite before everything closes, and by then, the pool closes at 9 PM. Thought of winding down in the whirlpool but couldn't get it to start. Tried the pool instead but as I got in, I was asked to leave as the pool was closing. No problem as I found the pool floor to be too viscous to my liking. Back in the room, the maintenance man that was repairing the leaking toilet made arrangements with the front desk to have us move to another room. It still puzzles me as to why they attributed us this runned down room in the first place when there were plenty other ones in much better condition. And we had booked an upgraded room too! Finally, I must admit I had a good night sleep. The bed and pillows were comfy and the temperature in the room was perfect. I must also give a high-five to all the personnel I dealt with that showed us much kindness and caring. Thank you!

The hotel was awesome and the pool area is amazing! The staff were very friendly and did everything they could to help us with anything we needed. Will definitely be staying there again next time we visit Quebec City.

I had higher expectations for this hotel based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately, we had to switch rooms three times, each with its own issues. The air conditioning was broken in the first room, and in the second, both the sink and toilet were clogged; this was only temporarily fixed after I contacted the reception. At night, we also noticed the smell of marijuana, which prompted yet another room change. The final room on the fifth floor was much better, although the pool odor was a downside. Despite these challenges, our stay became memorable thanks to the exceptional staff, particularly Saeed. Additionally, be aware that there is significant construction in the area, which can make commuting a bit difficult. One more observation: during the room changes, I was surprised to find that most hotels provide only the bare minimum amenities in the rooms allocated for Expedia guests.

My family and I recently stayed at Hotel Plaza Quebec and had a good experience. On the positive side, the pool was absolutely fantastic! The temperature was very warm, about 85 degrees Fahrenheit to my understanding—warm enough to be comfortable but still refreshing. It was a delight to take a dip after a long day of sightseeing. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, making it a great spot to relax and unwind. On the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, there was a live music played by local singers. Also, with the decor and at night when the pool lights comes on in the atrium, visually the pool area looked great. However, I was quite disappointed with the check-in time. A 5pm standard checkin time, especially for travelers who arrive early and are eager to settle in. It felt like we lost a significant part of our day waiting to get into our room. I hope the hotel considers adjusting this policy to better accommodate guests’ needs. With out being able to accomodate an earlier checkin and a standard checkout of 11am, a person is paying full price 6 hours of stay if travelling only for 1 night. Overall, while the pool was a highlight of our stay, the late check-in time was a definite downside.
