My daughter and I were here for a 4 night stay to tour Quebec City. We loved this hotel. It was quiet and beautiful and was such a great location. We could easily walk into the old city. The hot tub was great and the under the sea video in the hot tub/swimming area was both interesting and unique. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hôtel Palace Royal is named perfectly - you really do feel like you are staying in a royal palace. Location is excellent; plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from. Staff is kind. Room was spacious and well kept. We stayed in a suite with a murphy bed and one queen bed. The pool and garden area is stunning, and we loved the live musicians who performed during our stay! We did not have a garden/pool balcony, but this hotel offers a few balconies open to all guests, so we got to enjoy the music from one of those balconies. Loved every minute.

I really liked the room, staff, parking, and breakfast. I stayed for three days and was able to get free bus passes. The room was spacious, clean, and had natural light. The bed was the nicest hotel bed I've ever slept on. I would suggest this hotel to my family and friends.

Great location with restaurants and sights all walkable. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are large and the balcony overlooking the pool area was a bonus area for relaxation. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great room. Love the location. The fireplace is a beautiful touch. Love feeling warm and cozy. Wish restaurants and bars inside the hotel were actually open late night to grab a drink after a long flight.

First of all, let me state that the hotel did accommodate us…when we walked into our clean room and found that there was feces (or something that resembled it) smeared on the tub right next to the toilet…and when we looked out our window and realized that right outside our room was a late night concert venue, they moved us to a room on a higher floor. For that we are grateful. But, when you’re traveling with a family of young kids, a dirty room (there was no poop in the second room, but it was still dirty and just dingy) right above a noisy concert venue is just terribly disappointing. And exhausting. Prior to our stay, we received many emails about our stay from the hotel. Not one of those emails let us know that there was going be a concert outside our room almost every night of our stay. We purchased earplugs, but that didn’t help much when the 1980’s covers and techno music were pulsing through our window at 11 pm. Since the management explained to us that it was not their responsibility to inform us of what was happening outside of their hotel, we are making it our responsibility. If you are not hoping for a poorly cleaned, tired hotel room…if you’re not looking for ‘80s cover music blaring through your windows late into the night, then by all means, stay somewhere else.

Please, do not waste your money at this hotel. It is old, outdated and unclean. Housekeeping will not make up your room, only every other day which was not explained to us upon check in. Furniture was disgusting.. didnt even want to sit on the couch. Several other places in the area to choose from and I would highly recommend staying someplace else.

Very nice room but housekeeping services poor. We stayed 3 nights and on the second night I had to call down for clean towels. When they sent them they never bothered to make bed. I can deal with not changing sheets but they could have at least made the beds

The property is located within walking distance of all the sites I wanted to see. It is on a major street which made the access a bit dirty and noisy. The property was fairly clean, but there were some problems with equipment. The hot tub was not functioning correctly, the hotel was down to one working elevator during one of the days of our stay, and we could not get the air conditioning to work to adequately cool our room.
