We had a great room, with a small living room and amazing view on the old city. The swimming pool is nice but small and facing a lot of rooms (all those not facing the city). The gym is also small. The only drawback is the elevators, for which we had to wait a lot.

The pool should have a shower before you enter the pool policy it might help the cloudiness. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Upon checking the room to make sure we had everything, we found some dust bunnies that should have been vacuumed a long time ago...but overall it was clean. The breakfast buffet is very good 👍 I would recommend this hotel as it is near downtown within walking distance and also near transit I would definitely stay here again my wife and kids loved it

Only issue was AC in our room was not working. Was looked at twice and never really resolved. Temp in the room never went down for duration of our 3 night stay. Smell of chlorine was strong. Staff very friendly and helpful

We recently stayed at Hotel Palace Royal and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our room was spacious, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The standout feature of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Salma, Nassim, and Thomas were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location is unbeatable – it's close to all the top tourist attractions in Quebec City and having a grocery store right on-site was extremely convenient. A special thanks also goes out to the housekeeping team for maintaining such a high standard of cleanliness. Overall, we had an excellent stay and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you again to Salma, Nassim, Thomas, and the entire team at Hotel Palace Royal. See you soon!

It was close to everything however the chlorine smell was very strong even in our room as the pool was indoor. The attached restaurant was too expensive for the quality. The hotel need some renovation.

I loved having a one-bedroom suite with a microwave and refrigerator. For the most part, it was quiet. I’m sure I got a reduced rate because on Saturday there was a street festival nearby. Also, I kept banging my elbow on the shampoo dispenser. It should be in a different place. Even though I enjoyed the property, I wouldn’t stay in Ole Quebec because the restaurants are pricey.

The only issues I had was the concierge, he didn’t seem to know or have any specific recommendations for restaurants or wine bars when I asked. He said “just walk down the street, you’ll find something”. And the parking, I paid for an entire week but the pass only worked for two days then after that I had to use the help button each time I left and returned. Besides that everything else was amazing.
