The hotel is very convenient to everything in Quebec City. It’s clean quiet. Suzanne communicated by email and answered every question I had. She sent detailed instructions about how to check in, greeted us kindly when we arrived and kept our luggage for us so we could continue to explore the city after checking out.

Old property quaintly furnished with everything we needed.Excellent location 1 small block from Chateau Frontenac and Funiculaire. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, outdoor 3rd floor terrace. Rm #8,Individual a/c half-split, good linens, nice king mattress, great pillows on bed, hot water. No elevator, slightly creaky old floors (to be expected), several chairs and desk in room, closet/hangers, dresser drawers, night-stands. Accommodating not fussy. Friends in Rm 3; similar with king bed. Location and price hard to beat.

A good location in the upper old town next to the famous Chateau Frontenac hotel, with other hotels very close. Easy walk to restaurants, bars and cafes in the old town. Check in and out was very straightforward. Hotel not manned 24/7, but key given for front door, which was locked overnight. Room was simple and small, with a strange smell that we eventually attributed to the drains in the en suite. The cleanliness was poor, with the room quite dusty and in need of a deep clean.

Great location. Wifi is junk, small bathrooms , no tv stations you have to stream everything. No room service. Terrible pillows and sheets with holes in them. Ok place. Fun old building.

My husband and I stayed in Room 3, which was on the second floor. The hotel is older but charming. Easy check in and out with the front desk. Our room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge. Comfortable bed. The windows did not look out on anything, but we did not mind. Easy walk to Chateau Frontenac and the promenade. Garage parking was two blocks away, and plenty of restaurants around. We would stay again!

Book with confidence!! It’s great!
I forgot that little places like this even existed anymore, where every room looks different and there are 10 or fewer rooms available. It was absolutely charming. Nothing was new… Not the carpets, not the bathroom fixtures, not anything… And that is just fine. The pillows were so comfortable that I took off the pillowcases to find out what brand they were, so I could order some to have at home. Sealy, by the way, the bed was also incredibly comfortable and my husband and I slept so well during our stay. I really can’t say enough good things about the place, which is adjacent to a beautiful little park and the boardwalk for the St. Lawrence River. I can’t imagine a better spot in old Quebec.

Great location on quiet neighborhood in spite being next door to Chateau Frontenac and same street of American embassy. Super clean, has a fridge, coffee maker. A/C, windows that can be opened. Highly recommend

So I went with my nine-year-old so No late night bars or restaurants we want to do watch a movie was cutting in and out Internet speed was about 0.1 to 2 Mb per second it turned out that top floor was too far away and the service they had was not appropriate for the number of users. They want to change that. The location is the best you can think of nice view of the park old-fashioned cozy, romantic rooms. It would be a five rating my little one had to go down to the reception to message with her friends. He couldn’t do it from the room.

It’s a boutique hotel, quaint converted house located across park from Chateau hotel. Rooms accessible by stairs, no elevator. Otherwise stay was comfortable and easy access to restaurants and sightseeing. On the pricey side considering that parking is in nearby city garage at additional cost.
