Great location, lots of bedroom space for families
You cannot beat the location and space the property offers, 5 mins walk to the beach and the village, lots of parking and bedroom accommodation, it was perfect for our needs. However, sadly, the general repair and maintenance of the property has fallen below what many may find acceptable. Areas for improvement include: heating (does it work / if yes then instructions how to turn it on); leaking roof with ceiling and decoration damage to the upper floor; recessed lighting flickers and several bulbs not working throughout, broken fence, dirty windows with lots of cobwebs, microwave is temperamental. The waste & recycling facilities are inadequate (no information on bins and collections); the outside bins were over flowing when we arrived with only one green wheelie-bin available , it had no lid so everything overflowing with recycling contaminated as it was not clear where general waste goes, the previous guests had used this for general waste and we had to do the same. A lot of litter and rubbish in the front garden as a consequence of the lack of bins and removal processes.
Stayed 6 nights in Sep 2020
