Worst hotel ever ! Stay away
This is the worst hotel I have even been to ! The rooms smell like mold the air conditioner don’t work. My patio door didn’t lock The food was inedible and when we went to the snack bar the food was covered with flies and my wife got hurt when she sat in a chair that had a screw sticking out of the missing armrest We checked out immediately due to the poor quality and the hotel refused to refund us Stay away from this hotel at best it is a 2 - 3 star hotel and certainly not a 5 star. !

I like that it was a smaller resort, no kids, and right on the beach. I was pleasantly surprised by their sustainability practices and recycling/waste program. That being said, the food at the buffet was not great. The fresh fruit and vegetables were fine but unless you got there right at the beginning of service, the hot food was not hot and seemed old. I visited the Italian restaurant which was good although it’s kind of hard to screw up a pasta dish. The Brazilian restaurant was very disappointing. Everything was overcooked and lacked flavour. I was ignored by servers and watched a couple next to me that arrived 20 minutes after I did receive multiple rounds of drinks before I even got my first. The rooms were not very clean. I have stayed at lower budget hotels/motels that were cleaner than this. I didn’t receive any new towels one day, tried to call but the phone was broken, tried to ask the maids for some and they kept directing me to someone else. I’ve worked as a professional cleaner and server before and expected WAY better service than I received here. There were a few employees that were great (a few at the buffet and the bartender at the snack bar). I did feel harassed and pushed by the tour/excursion guys. If I politely declined they would ask why. Just felt very uncomfortable. It wasn’t the worst experience (I was happy to hang by the beach all day) but I wouldn’t return nor would I recommend.

The service was amazing and the area is beautiful. Needed newer music around pool area and DJ talked too much. Had a little trouble getting service from the pool bar as I’m now 66 and invisible. I just went to the bar by the beach and tipped like crazy.

If you want spend time relax and quiet this hotel it's for you .. have some activities but most of time it's to relax all the staff are very friendly and helpful... The only thing that bother a lil bit it's the room that only get to 71F I really like to be really cold to sleep... Other than that it's great!

Closeness to beach and access to their sister property next door were great. The food was good and one of the highlights of my stay. The only issue I had was the state of the rooms. They are old and aren't able to get the mold humid smell from the rooms, so the place where im suppose to rest was not comfortable. It's difficult to enjoy the resort when you don't have sufficient rest and comfort, especially in your room. Staff were excellent and professional.
