Our trip was wonderful from the time we walked in the door, the personal check-in was very nice. The staff was attentive from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Julio in the buffet made the start of everyday amazing! Our butler's Ismael and Nathanael, they were excellent and came through with everything we requested in a timely manner, they deserve a raise...Thank you to everyone! We will definitely stay here again!!

I have been on quite a few all inclusive vacations and this one was unfortunately on the near bottom of my list. The property grounds were gorgeous, and Red with the event staff was awesome, but unfortunately those were the only good things about this vacation. The food got 3/6 people sick. The first room we stayed in had a water leak fro maybe ceiling in which we were rushed out and put into the same type of room. No offers of upgrades or offers to make up for the inconvenience. Most importantly, I had AirPods stolen which are clearly trackable. They were tracked from my room, to Higuey, a town where a shuttle picks up many of the employees per the staff in the main lobby. I submitted a complaint with the reception desk and manager where they only offered me a “free 2 night stay”. I live in the US, so clearly I wasn’t paying for a flight out again just to benefit from a 2 night stay after items were stolen from my room without a solution. They said they couldn’t “accuse” their staff of stealing so they would refund me 1 night stay. This equates to not even 1/4 of what the AirPods cost me. The office staff, Catherine, stated she would email me their investigation updates, but I have not received one email yet from her. Only good thing about this complex is Red. I would not recommend this resort to anyone as items were STOLEN, and a valid solution was never given to me.

The resort itself is BEAUTIFUL. Very chic and trendy. The atmosphere is more of a relaxing type of vacation with a little bit of partying. I recommend if you want something a little quieter. The entertainment was great at night for the time we went since it rained most nights but the staff made the best of it. The food was great at all the restaurants. Rooms were very clean and every single staff member was very friendly and welcoming. I wish there were more activities at the resort itself but overall I would go back just for the relaxation and food at this resort. Great for couples! Lots of romantic things to organize and make your trip special. Spa services, private dinner on the beach, and dinner in the wine cellar at the French restaurant. Lots of food options throughout the day and 24/7 room services came in handy for the late night.

Service was horrible! The resort itself is beautiful but if you’re Latino do not come here. Everyone else around us received better service while we didn’t. They asked us what our ethnicity was and since then it went downhill. Anytime we asked for things like a fruit flavored drink they were out of it and instead would give it to other guest IN FRONT OF US. Staff was rude and lazy. We tipped and still couldn’t get decent service. When we asked for a water bottle at one of their restaurants the waiter said no because if “ I have to get one for you I have to get one for everyone and I don’t want to do that.” Bartenders are horrible they don’t know how to make any drinks and the drinks they did know how to make were disgusting. The glasses were dirty and when complained about the staff didn’t offer to replace it. Horrible, horrible service never coming back.

VIP access is not worth the additional cost. The butler did not attend us and would respond 1hr later. Our butler asked for our departure time to pick us up and did not show up even 15 minutes later. During the VIP “tour” of the hotel, they tell you you will receive a “welcome gift” the next day. I would recommend declining as this resulted in a waste of 4hours as staff attempt to lure you into paying for a subscription for future stays. For the additional money you pay for a higher caliber hotel, this was not worth it for us.

The resort is well-kept, and the staff is friendly enough, however the entertainment, is below par. New to work on having more and better activities for the guest.
