We learned the hotel just opened. There were only two other guests, aside from us. Overall, the hotel is very nice, with some work to be done (no windows that could be opened, some trouble with shower draining correctly). Common areas are beautiful with lots of green around. Having breakfast on rooftoop terrace was a highlight. Staff was fantastic. They will take you to a fantastic beach close by. What put us off a bit were the surroundings. Cap Cana is a work in progress. Probably will be amazing in some years, but it seems now as a movie set, with more people working at restaurants or a few shops, than visitors. It was a nice experience, but I would not recommend it for the near future.
