We had the best time here. The property is beautiful and modern and the plunge pool at our bungalow was great. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and made sure our trip was great. You can walk to the town of puerto Viejo within minutes and be Oceanside in no time.

The property was beautiful and most of the staff were great however restaurant morning staff needs improvement. Took forever after being seated before you got drinks and they give very small coffee cups and literally never once refill them. I had to keep going to the bar for my wife and I to ask for refill. Server would walk right by table, should see coffee cups were empty and refill but they didn’t. Also breakfast was very light and very fufu. Maybe include heartier options for people that like a big full breakfast. Drink prices were high compared to other establishments in the area as well. Overall great spot to stay.

Namu is a small but beautiful resort just a few blocks out of Puerto Viejo. It is a perfect private stay for those who desire a romantic getaway with the opportunity to explore. They offered great day trips and strong air conditioning. Shower pressure wasn’t great. Food was not worth the hype or price, but staff were kind and attentive

This property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the spa was amazing! The resort is minutes walking distance to the beach town of Puerto Viejo with lots of shopping opportunities. The locals are very welcoming and we felt very safe. I rarely stay at the same place twice, but I would absolutely return to this resort when visiting the area again (which I plan to!). Our bungalow with private pool was lovely. Highly recommend.

Namu Garden Hotel was beautiful and the perfect destination to relax and rejuvenate! The breakfast was great, the rooms were stunning (we stayed in Casa Namu, which was perfect for 4 people especially since it had 2 bathrooms), and the staff was super nice and accommodating. They offered us a shuttle ride from San Jose for a very reasonable price (it was about the same as just taking a bus but with the convenience of being private and picking us up at the time we wanted). The hotel was also walking distance to the beach and the town of Puerto Viejo which was super convenient. I would definitely stay here again next time I come to Puerto Viejo!

We had an incredible stay at Namu! It was worth the drive from San Jose - the property was quiet and private and the staff were amazing! Our room was beautiful and the private pool was such a nice addition to our stay. The food was delicious and the presentation was always beautiful. We had a couples massage with sound healing and aromatherapy - in the open air spa and rain coming down outside, it made it so much more relaxing. Douglas the manager and Jeremy the server made our stay so special. Their service was top notch!

This place was simply a paradise, they do everything they can to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. I rarely want to return to a resort as my trips are more towards exploring, but this place needs to be enjoyed more than once. We stayed in a room with a private pool that surpassed our expectations, the room was well-equipped and the front desk accommodated any additional needs. The pool and the deep soak tub were an excellent way to end our day.

Me and my daughter just had a 6 night stay at Namu Gardens and it was beyond excellent! The staff called us by name our entire trip. The food was excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. The hotel booked all our daily tours we went horse back riding and snorkeling twice. Our trip was truly magical. I recommend spa treatments and their amazing coffee. We will be back!

This property is absolutely lovely! Special shout out to the staff who were so attentive - from our hibiscus welcome drink to assistance with transportation - they made each day special. We watched colorful birds from our terrace while sipping CR coffee and ate deliciously prepared meals at the restaurant by the gorgeous turquoise blue pool. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The walkability to town was nice, too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll be back!!
