Great Boutigue Hotel
Great boutique hotel and very romantic. My wife and stayed 5 nights in Diablito 1 and had a great view and wonderful shower. This hotel is great for adult travelers who want to be close enough to the town but far enough to have real experience. The surrounding community is mainly a mix of local families and seasonal travelers. Highly recommend this hotel and the staff are the best, especially Mercedes. Ask her for a tour of the hotel, each room has its own theme and have different views. The only room without a view is Tortugas on the bottom floor. My wife and I are planning our second trip and will be staying here when we come back.

Hôtel très moyen, loin de tout et complètement en haut de la ville, pas facile d’accès . À pied il faut être en forme car beaucoup d’escaliers. Petit déjeuner médiocre avec un peu de fruits café et 2 toast et confiture. Aucune autre option offerte. Pas d’autres restaurants aux alentours. Personel somme toute gentils et serviables. Qualité prix définitivement beaucoup trop cher.

After deciding I didn’t want to stay in a resort, my friend and I picked this place for our PV stay. And I would pick this property time and time again. The view is absolutely stunning! Our room had a balcony you could step out on and see the amazing ocean and sunsets! The roof has a gorgeous infinity pool that we woke up and sat in every morning. The front is kept locked and guests have keys to get in so it felt very safe. We traveled in July, which is the rainy season and the property did not seem busy however the couple that run the property were still very attentive and kept everything clean. The gentleman carried out heavy luggage up the stairs to our room. And back down when we left. Even packed them into our Uber for us. The beautiful woman is so sweet and makes coffe and toast and fruit for guests in the morning. The property is walking distance to the malecon however it is down a somewhat steep cobblestone road. Probably not suitable for people with mobility issues. HACK if you are tired you can walk down and Uber back up for 2-4$ depending where on the malecon you are. Only cons : bed was to hard for me. Couldn’t figure out how to get A/C running but didn’t ask for help either.

We always stayed at the beach in Puerto Vallarta then thought we would try inland…what a great choice. Amazing views of the sun setting over the ocean while relaxing in a rooftop pool. Heaven. Staff are super kind. So much common space to enjoy the views. I would love to bring the whole family and rent a few rooms.

Checked in for a two night stay on 19Feb. We chose Luna Liquida specifically for the "Estrella" room which includes a plunge pool, but at check in they told us that the Estrella room which we had explicitly booked (at a high rate) was not available and moved us to the Diablita room (without a plunge pool). Management offered a 50% discount on the original price, which is slightly less than it would have cost to stay in the room they moved us to for two days. Ultimately it was not worth trying to find another room for two nights. At time of this writing two weeks later I am still waiting for Olaf/jefe to honor this, as I'm told I need to write this review before they will provide the partial refund. Nonetheless it is a beautiful hotel with great views, comfy AC, a lovely rooftop pool, friendly staff, and a nice included breakfast of fruit and toast. We enjoyed our stay overall despite the inconvenience. As others have mentioned it is up a hill, but we loved the "centro" neighborhood and appreciated being off the main strip. We would stay again, but probably wouldn't bother to book in advance and would instead inquire about availability on arrival.

This place was just adorable! Our room faced out towards the ocean/church and had a little balcony that was so charming. The staff was so friendly and they made the nicest breakfast in the common area each morning! Bring good walking shoes as it’s up a hill but we loved the morning walk to and from. This was our 3rd time staying in the romantic zone and would highly recommend La Luna Liquida!
