This property is perfect for a getaway. It was our second time at the resort, and we returned because we had such a great time before. The buffet and the restaurants are great. The area is safe, and it’s an easy walk to Bucerías. The beach is a great place to walk and swim. Looking forward to returning next year. A bonus was the special area for Expedia guests which made it easy to make reservations at the restaurants and book tours.

Our oceanfront room was a little dated but very spacious with a wonderful view. The meals at The Grill were excellent, however the mexican and asian restaurants were mediocre . Check-in & check out were very fast and easy.

Pros: adult only pool faces the ocean with an infinity ledge, spectacular! The activity co ordinates were great! Thank you to Edgar, Victoria and Damien! The staff at the buffet were friendly and kind. A special thank you to Anny! She always created me with a smile and welcomed me. There were 3 restaurants. I enjoyed the Grill the most! Special Thank you to Samuel and Delia. Lizabeth in the altitude lounge was always helpful! The housekeeping ladies were great! Cleaned everyday and supplied me with everything I needed. My bed was comfy and bottled water was always supplied! Cons: my room was on the 20th floor, the view was nice. This was supposedly an upgrade due to booking with Expedia! My room was at the bottom of the stairs to the Sky bar! It became quit noisey at night especially at 1 am when the bar closed. On several occasions during my stay my room smelt like sewer! Several floor tiles were broken. Would have preferred to be on a lower floor where I could see and hear the ocean! The beach area was always crowded. A lot of the lounge chairs were dirty and stained! I really didn’t enjoy the beach area. The reserving of loungers was ridiculous! People were reserving chairs at 4 am. So when I wanted a lounger at 7:30 am there wasn’t much left. No one was managing how long a lounger could be reserved! Wry frustrating! Overall I will not be returning to this resort!

I greatly enjoyed the property and the dining. It was a bit frustrating that I had upgraded my room to have a king bed but when we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded by the property but we ended up with 2 double beds instead of one king. Other than that, everything was great and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.
