Overall a very nice experience. Only thing I would add is that the national restaurants, like 'Italian', 'Asian', etc ought to have chefs that have knowledge in cooking that type of food.

I thought the property itself was great. It was beautiful, the beach was great and the views were awesome. The room was nice and comfortable. It could have used two chairs instead of one. Not sure why there was a window in the shower to the main room. I thought the food was average at best. Some good items in the buffet but generally most of the dishers were average or below. The best food was at the hut outside near the pool. Some of the things they had like the Ahi bowl were outstanding. The entertainment at night was average.

Our room smelled so bad of pain anytime the ac turned out. One day it got so bad I literally had a headache and my husband came into the room he said it’s not safe to be breathing this. We informed the management and they told us to transfer rooms. I left behind my band new sunglasses in the old room. They were never taken or worn on the trip. I have contacted them multiple times without any response. I believe the staff took my sunglasses. They were expensive. We love Hyatt ziva cancun but this property does not have the same customer service. I will not be staying at Hyatt ziva properties any longer. The lack of communication is unbelievable

staff is always pleasant and extremely helpful. We have been guests at the Hyatt Ziva at least once a year. Blaze, Casa Grande, Purza and world cafe food was terrific. Not to impressed with the Italian food. Lots of changes since the Hyatt took over in 2014. Some are good and some not to good.
