What a wonderful experience. The views the service . Everything was perfect . It was as about a 15 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes into the town with tons of restaurants

Not luxury but boutique, yes.
What’s spectacular - the views. What’s lacking - the service. Technology not working at check-in, water shut off twice in three days, housekeeping forgot towels and asked us to come and retrieve at the front desk, maintenance left their shirt and tools in the closet?, restaurant was meh (food and service). Bed was hard, pillows lumpy, and towels course - not luxury. Front desk could not be bothered. If you are looking for value, views, remoteness - this is the hotel for you.

Such a lovely place to start off our honeymoon! The patio and pool are excellent and there is a spectacular view as it’s located almost at the top of the hill. The entire staff is also so helpful and friendly. Added bonus of a cute and sweet patio cat named Molly!

This was my second time staying here. I love the location, the property is beautiful, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the restaurant has an incredible view of the entire bay. I highly recommend to stay here. The only thing is, there is not an elevator, so I would not recommend for someone who has mobility issues, but otherwise it’s a great place and I would come again.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with an abundance of colors. The views are extraordinary. We were promptly checked in and were upgraded to a lovely ocean view room. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had a soaking tub, a magnifying mirror, and a rainfall shower. I had to keep the door open though, there wasn't much circulation of air in there. The AC was nice, but the fan wasn't working. Also, this place is not accessible at all. I dreaded the stairs daily. The restaurant was yummy and the staff was nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Tenemos una experiencia buenísima a esta hotelito. My friend and I found this place last minute after getting scammed on Vrbo, and we could not have been happier to stay at Patio Azul. It was beautiful, the staff were so friendly and nice, and it had absolutely everything we needed and more! Can’t wait to go back!

Room was really nice and the staff was great. The property is set on a hill so I needed an Uber but it was only 3.00 roughly to go into town and about 25.00 to the airport. The ocean view from the room was beautiful and the food was really good

Staff was amazing very helpful and very kind genuine people. During this trip we had some problem, hotel was very understand and egar to help in anyway they could. Room was great, view is great. This is a beautiful quiet hotel close to downtown Vallarta. The staff is excellent, and service is exceptional. There are 2 Jacuzzi's and a fairly nice swimming pool on the rooftop alongside the hotel's bar/restaurant. Food was very good. The views are amazing as well. Many thanks to Samantha who took good care of us during our stay. We would definitely come back in the future.

Beautiful hotel with great rooms and amazing views of the water and the bay. The restaurant was good and the pool seemed good though a bit small. The hotel sits almost at the top of a hill, so the views are beautiful but the walk uphill is definitely not. But taxis and uber aplenty, we didnt have any trouble at all. Very close to romantic zone and the city in general, woukd definitely recommend!

Luis and Liz always make sure that my stay is sublime! Sammy always makes me a mean Limetini!!! I don’t drink. But, I love love love Sammy’s Limetini! She uses 1 shots of Absolute vodka and 1 shot of Tito’s vodka, and fresh lime juice with special Sammy shakes in shaker. I can rest at Patio Azul Luxury Hotel. 🏨 It’s heaven on earth 🌎 for me!

This property is perfect if you are looking for quiet. It is far enough from downtown making it great for a good night sleep. It is a 6 minute drive or 30 minute walk to all restaurants, cafe and where the fun is. Since it is up a hill walking is not suitable for all, you may want to walk down and get an Uber to go back because it is a workout. The beach is close by as well and public transportation is easy to use and safe. I loved how my room looked and how friendly the staff was. The views of the sunset from this property were amazing!

The front desk staff was rather unwelcoming during check-in, and they charge for everything—I was even billed for a replacement key when I accidentally locked mine inside. The manager is neither accommodating nor friendly. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bar closes at 9, even on weekends. I was also harassed by staff via WhatsApp over a dirty towel, which could have easily been washed. Overall, it was a terrible experience—I will not be returning. Ps - there’s no elevator

Liz goes over and beyond to make sure things like the Jacuzzi work. She makes sure that you get the best room possible. The restaurant and bar are superb! Try there lemon drop…really a divine lime drop with Tinos and citron lemon with lime juice and sugared rim…a home run!
