We were in PV for a wedding at the nearby Hyatt Ziva, and we were SO glad we stayed here instead of at the resort! There are three properties in this building, which is built on the side of a steep hill, with Condo Azul being the top condo. There is a small jungle/ green space below the building and we loved being above the canopy able to look down onto the treetops. Especially thankful that the owners provided good-quality binoculars, which made it easier to spot the (10!) iguanas in the trees, identify birds, and look for whales out in the bay. The check-in process was easy, and Mercedes, the property manager, was super helpful. We also met the owners, who stay in the topmost villa when they're in residence. They were super nice!
The pool is shaded most of the day, so if you want to sun worship, you'll need to go to the beach (easy walk, towels and beach chairs provided), but it is great for folks like us who want to swim after a long hot day, but have had enough brushes with skin cancer that we need to stay sheltered.
Getting into town is easy via taxi or uber, but the road into town isn't walkable. For that, you need to walk along the beach, which is quite doable once you figure it out (in daytime. Rough stairs and rocks, so don't do it at night).
We'd stay here again, and if you were traveling with friends or a large family group, it would be super fun to book Condos Azul, Verde and Rojo all together!
