2 Bedroom Villa With 360 Degree Views Set High On Hill On 5 Acre Estate.

This home is set on one of the highest points in Providenciales called Sunrise Ridge. Turtle Tail, our neighborhood is not the usual overdeveloped resort area full of condos. Our neighborhood has well spaced multimillion dollar homes. No noisy neighbors here, just space, piece and quiet and have I mentioned the views?

Since Turks and Caicos is all about the weather and being outside let's start there. Right alongside the house is our new swimming pool. Sit on the deck with your morning coffee and watch the ocean change color. When it heats up, cool off hanging out in the pool or retreat to the covered porch that runs the length of the house. When it's time for dinner, you can choose the well appointed full interior kitchen with new appliances or throw somthing to grill on our new BBQ. In the event it is getting cool, light up the firepit and sip on a cocktail while waiting for dinner. Then you can dine on our large outdoor table with nice lighting accents and a fan in case it didn't cool off!

No condos or resorts with guests everywhere here - this is all for your use, shared with just one other studio unit which has a maximum of two guests. There is lots of room to roam with a long entry driveway, seats looking out the other way over Flamingo lake towards the island in case you get tired of the ocean view and even a nature trail that takes you through the 5 acres that the house is set on.

OK lets go inside. The home has everything you need to enjoy the Turks and Caicos islands including a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, cooker, oven, microwave and washer and dryer. We travel a lot ourselves so we know what people need to be comfortable so we've provided a coffeemaker, blender, toaster, kettle, hairdryers etc. etc. We've tried to add everything you'll need including beach chairs, coolers and a sun umbrella for the beach along with buckets and spades for the young ones!

The main bedroom has a king sized bed, built in closets and airconditioning. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together to form another king. There's a/c in here too.

The house has a 52 inch Sony HDTV equipped with a roku box with Netflix and connections for you to hook up your own media. There is a BluRay DVD player, lots of DVDs, books and games. Of course there is wifi for staying in touch

Please note : A/C use is generally not needed since we have such great breezes. If you do need to use a/c it is metered and charged at the same rate we pay the utility company.

Great location and stunning natural beauty
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sunrise Ridge in the Venetian Settlement on Turks and Caicos, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings. The property is perched perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and pristine beaches that the islands The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the outdoor dining area provided the perfect setting for enjoying them. The staff - Terri and Alison were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Location-wise, Sunrise Ridge couldn't be better. It offers a sense of peaceful seclusion while still being conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The nearby beaches are some of the best I have ever seen, with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water that are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. Overall, my stay at Sunrise Ridge in the Venetian Settlement was nothing short of exceptional. It provided a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and natural beauty. Great communication with host. Location was fantastic, nice and private. Plenty of space for a family of four and all of the neccesities needed. Having the pool was a plus. Close to the grocery store and everthing was a short drive. The studio was not occupied while we were there and a couple arrived the night before we left so I can't comment on that. We would stay again, thank you for a great time.

Perfect family retreat!
We loved our stay! For our family of 3, this was the perfect getaway spot. From the location, to the views, the convenience of the pool, the affordability, to the quietness, it was the vacation spot we were looking for. The cottage size was roomy for our family, and having the ability to wake up, grab breakfast, and go right out to the pool and have that access throughout the day was amazing. Our little one loved swimming and it was incredibly convenient having the pool steps from the cottage. We love doing our own thing and having family time rather than being in the hustle and bustle of crowds, so this was exactly what we were looking for. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay again!

The space was as billed. If you are staying for a week you’ll need to get a refill on the 5 gallon water dispenser, it’s $2 and there are multiple locations so no big deal. Really pretty private!

Stunning Views
The views from this property are absolutely stunning. The cottage is exactly as described. It had everything we needed for beach days and for grilling and cooking. Great pool and outdoor kitchen/fire pit area. The Venetian Settlement area is very nice, and everything is just a short drive away. We rented a car (a must if you want to truly see the island and all the beaches it has to offer). This place is perfect for a family of four or two couples.

Great place!

A wonderful stay!!
Great communication with the hosts before, during, and after our stay. Finding the house was easy with their directions and check in was a breeze! The house and grounds are beautiful, we loved sitting by the pool in the mornings, just enjoying the peaceful views. We did have an issue which the hosts worked to resolve right away and communicated with us promptly throughout and it was resolved within the day (the AC stopped working and they had a new minisplit put in.). The house is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The bedrooms each have their own AC and we slept very well. I have absolutely no complaints and would love to stay again!!

Amazing time at an amazing cottage
This cottage was super cute. The pics don’t do it justice. The beds were super comfy. My family especially enjoyed the pool- my kids went right to the pool after spending the day at the beach. Terri, Allison, and Ray we’re all very easy to contact if needed. Amazing view of the ocean. They have a few beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool floaties there to use. We would definitely stay again.

Great Space
We loved being off the beaten path, the cottage was less than 15 minutes to the tourist zone and abt 15 minutes or less to everything else (from airport to more local restaurants/beaches). The view is amazing and the space was more than adequate. The pics could use updating -(mainly to show the new dine in kitchen space). We loved our time there and the secluded feel. The option of a quick dip to cool off under the stars was amazing. Never crossed paths with the neighbors in the studio, so no problem there! Thanks for the memories, we hope to visit again!

Wonderful Cottage
This is a very special rental. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is lovely, with a good kitchen, nice bedrooms, newly redone bathrooms, and numerous ceiling fans to help keep it cool. We loved the seclusion and privacy the location offered, yet also found it a quick drive to everything on the island. The couple staying in the Studio were polite and friendly, making it easy to share the outdoor space. When we ran into a couple of problems prior to arrival, the hosts were very willing to problem-solve with us. As mentioned in other reviews, a couple of items require attention: the main screen door needs to be replaced and the safe must be bolted to the floor.

Gorgeous location and wonderful stay!
This cottage was exactly what we were hoping for - close enough to go to different activities and restaurants but far enough away to be a quiet oasis. The view was spectacular, having the pool was so nice, and the covered porch really did allow us to be outside no matter the time of day. We never had to turn on the AC, even at night. The metal roof does get LOUD if there's a heavy rain, but luckily those don't usually last that long. The photo of the kitchen area should be updated as it's been rearranged during an apparent remodeling, but the layout is actually more open now. It was a great place to stay!!

A serious case of false advertising
While the space was adequate and the views gorgeous, we did have a number of concerns. The space itself did not match the photos on VRBO. The photos listed a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen looked completely different in reality than the listing photo and the bathroom in the listing does not exist in that space. The refrigerator light was not working and the bulb dangles hazardously out of its housing. When traveling you rely on there being a working iron. The one available at the property was badly damaged and did not work. We did use the grill one evening to find that at dusk none of the outside lighting was working, nor did the outdoor fan shown in the listing exist beyond the broken fixture where it once was. The lantern on the table by the grill was rusted and completely broken. There was also no means of cleaning the grill. Much of the furniture appears old, worn and stained and again does not match some of the listing photographs. There were also stains on the sheets and bedding. The safe was no longer bolted to the floor and is light enough to pick up and carry. There was no dresser for clothing so we lived out of our suitcases for the week. There were privacy curtains on all of the sliding glass doors except the one facing the shared outdoor space. We could see the remnants of where a curtain rod used to be. This was uncomfortable for us when the guests in the studio were using the pool area. The Adirondack chairs and seating area in the listing do not exist. We had booked this property for a vacation to celebrate a 50th birthday and were disappointed with the reality of the property versus the listing. Overall, to us, this felt like a property that has been neglected and not maintained and the VRBO listing felt, in many respects, like false advertising. We did appreciate the detailed information packet provided.
