If you are looking for pampered, modern conveniences this is not your place. If you want peace, quiet, tranquility amid old relics, antiques, and farm pastures you will enjoy this property. The homestead is much like it was during the time it was built (early 1900s). It is intended to give visitors and guests an idea of how living on the farm in the early years might have been. Our guests tell us its like 'revisiting their childhood when ‘going to Grandma's house'.
Life on the farm remain pretty much the way the it was when grandma lived there in the early 1900's. Guests today have a few more modern conveniences including wifi, cable tv, and . . . a bathroom, replacing the old outhouse that once stood on the farm.
Experience the freshness of the cool mountain filled with the sound of owls and crickets chirping softly in the stillness..
If a rain should be falling on the old tin roof, you're in for a special treat. There's nothing like listening to the soothing raindrops as you curl up with a good book or nap the entire afternoon.
The farm comes with a 4-legged security system named Diesel who watches over all who visit, barks upon your arrival, and waits for his biscuit treat!
Guests can go for a walk to the old barn, go fishing or kayaking in the river, watch deer graze in the pastures, or make conversation around the crackling firepit while roasting marshmallows and taking in the beauty of a clear, starlit night.
Time stands still at this old farm, rusted glimpses of days gone by, inviting guests to visit and remember when life was simpler. Paradise awaits!
