Secluded Bungalow Neighboring Priest Lake

Come stay in our spacious bungalow with a cabin like feel. We are conveniently located just north of Priest River with just twenty minutes to Priest Lake, Idaho's Crown Jewel. You will find many activities available near by like hiking, biking, ATV trails, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, huckleberry picking, golf, water skiing, snow skiing and hunting. Priest Lake, Priest River and Pend Oreille Lake are just a few miles from your front door. There are also three ski resorts and Silverwood Theme Park within forty five minutes. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and mountains that our area has to offer.

In the bungalow you will find a queen sized log bed, twin bunk beds and a breakfast nook. The kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator, air fryer with a baking option, coffee pot and cooking conveniences to cook with. TV is provided with Netflix . There is a full bathroom with both a shower and full sized tub.

You are welcome to walk the ten acres and visit our seasonal creek and pond. Lots of parking is available and you are encouraged to bring your toys!

We are on a private road that we share with near by neighbors and ask that you drive in and out slowly with any motorized vehicle.
Please note when you put in the address to come stay with us it must say Priest River Idaho. There is a similar address in a near by town and it will direct you in the wrong direction! Once you leave town there is no cell service.

Great getaway
I found Buckskin Flat Retreat to be clean and adequately furnished. The hosts were over the top. Even the chickens and cats were friendly. If you want to get away from it all and experience God's country, then this is the perfect spot. Thank you for sharing your secluded slice of heaven.

A lovely time
Laura was so welcoming and friendly. The property was clean and as described. The only thing I might mention is the double bed is a sofa bed that was in the closet, so can be pulled out to put in the room. (This was fine, just helpful to know). The price was very, very reasonable. Lots of thoughtful touches and we had a great experience here! Thank you!!

Quiet solitude
The host was always quick to respond and incredibly nice. The cabin and the grounds were meticulously maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, some places miss on this and it dampens the experience. Place is very nicely laid out and very cozy. Driving distance to Coolin was 25 minutes. The Falls pub makes the BEST sandwiches by the way, 5 minutes away. I Would absolutely, recommend this experience for small family or couple for a great get away !

My two friends and I were able to easily locate the property. The host was very friendly and offered great advice about the area. We were about a half an hour from priest lake which was very convenient. There is no cell phone reception in the area so make sure you know where you are going before you lose coverage!

Another wonderful stay
We discovered this perfectly cozy retreat last year and loved it so much that we booked another visit this year…and it won’t be our last. John and Laura are great hosts. The space is the perfect size. It’s comfy with all the amenities and wonderful decor. Wonderful Place and Hosts!
We enjoyed our stay out here and enjoyed being out of a town. The hosts were very accommodating with any questions or issues that came up. Friendly people but gave us space so we were able to relax and have a great family vacation. They were installing wifi the day we left. We enjoyed not having cell service while we were there but it will make it quite convenient for the next travelers!

Cozy Cabin Retreat
Our family of five were very comfortable in this cute little cabin tucked in the majestic mountains of Northern Idaho. Stocked with all the necessities you could possibly need and more. Adorable chickens, rooster, pigs, cats, dog. We had a relaxing weekend here and plan to visit again!

My husband and I are wedding photographers and stayed here the night before a wedding at Elkin's resort 45mins away. The hosts were helpful and texted specific instructions before we lost service. It was a beautiful spot but would not recommend if needing to work remotely. We left wishing we could have stayed there longer!

Wonderful remote getaway
Bungalow is cozy and well stocked with coffee for the morning and popcorn for movie nights In the evening. Roosters crow in the morning. John, Laura, and her family were friendly and cared that we had a good experience. My family was there for extraordinary hiking and the property owner gave us suggestions about amazing hikes in the area. Will return again next year!!!

Beyond expectations
My husband and I spent a really great time here. The accommodations are fantastic. The space is the perfect size and Laura's decorations are really perfection. It was super cozy and very clean. The outside areas were equally lovely. My husband and I enjoyed sitting outside both in the mornings and the evenings. We also thoroughly enjoyed getting to hang out with the friendly furry hosts. :-) And while we missed meeting Laura, we were really glad to meet John and have several enjoyable conversations with him. The cabin is perfectly located for easy travel to both downtown Priest River and the Priest Lake State Park. We cannot recommend this sweet little cabin enough and hope to return again next year for another visit.

Our New Favorite Destination!
We had a blast! The property is secluded and breathtakingly beautiful. Close enough to the lake and river to enjoy them, but away from the bustle of town and the crowds. You can't beat the surroundings! Laura is an excellent host and if I could give her 10 stars I would. She and John were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and really made our trip special. Be sure to stop at the Moose Knuckle in Coolin, ID for some dessert and garlic cheese fries or grab some groceries if you're going to the lake. The toffee pudding cake and brownie sundae are to die for! Thank you so, so much Laura...you are THE best!
