Perfect for couples, friends, and families, the garden to the rear is enclosed.
Located in Tarleton Village you’ll find a café and couple of pubs within easy walking distance, and neighbouring Hesketh Bank (2 miles) is home to ample local amenities including a high-end supermarket and farm shop. A network of footpaths and dedicated cycle routes radiate from the area, and the nearby Ribble Estuary Nature Reserve is incredibly popular with bird watchers and nature lovers. Totalling 5,000 acres of salt marsh it’s home to an impressive range of wildlife, with more than a quarter of a million migrating water birds feeding in and around the estuary.
The popular seaside town of Southport has a whopping 22 miles of coastline and the second longest pleasure pier in the British Isles. You’ll find shops, bars, and mouth-watering restaurants, together with traditional seaside amusements, a cinema, and an indoor water park. For anyone craving the bright lights and culture of a big city Southport train station also provides easy access to both Liverpool and Chester. Other places of interest nearby include the National Trust’s Rufford Old Hall only 10 minutes away, and the National Trust’s Formby, a glorious beach with dramatic sand dunes surrounded by sweeping coastal pinewoods being 40 minutes away. Slightly further afield, the Ribble Valley and city of Lancaster can both be reached in about an hour, and just a little bit further away is the southern Lake District National Park or the Forest of Bowland, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
