Good location close to the old town so easy to walk everywhere. Very old period facility in a working brewery, but the bathroom was reasonably modern. Wifi is spotty in hotel room which is a nuisance - had to go sit in the lobby lounge for assured access (hence only 4 stars). Beer hall style restaurant is part of the complex which is lively and good food/beer. Breakfast buffet is great with a fair bit of choice. The beer spa though was the true delight. Really relaxing to soak in hot bath with beer extract etc and a beer tap at tub side to enjoy a pint while soaking and listening to music. Highly recommended!!

The third floor did not have an elevator which caused a problem for me when leaving. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel restaurant was very good. Good food wonderful atmosphere and the prices were reasonable I could not get a place with a both location. 10 min walk to the old town square. Shopping and restaurants just around the corner.

Our first time in Prague. We loved the location of U Medviku, easy walking distance to Old Town and Lower Prague. The staff were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was delightful and the room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff impressed me with their warmth and professionalism. Their friendly demeanor and helpfulness set a positive tone for the stay. The room was immaculate—spotless. It was clear that attention to detail was a priority, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our waitress/bar lady also deserve special mention. Very informative and courteous, ensuring we had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was delicious with an overwhelming variety of food options. Everything was fresh and flavorful, making for a perfect start to the day. Next time, I'll make sure I stay longer and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I can't wait to return!

Good stay and the rooms are huge. They list as having AC but not all rooms actually do. Ask for a room away from the street if it’s summer. Also, for some insane reason the bathroom doors don’t lock. Super annoying, bring a doorstop. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The location is perfect. Walk to anything but it’s a few blocks from the super touristy spots.

Amazing location
The location was absolutely fantastic, allowing us to walk to most major attractions with ease. The front desk staff were notably friendly and accommodating; special thanks to Paula for her exceptional help. The breakfast offered was fulfilling and a great way to start the day. However, there were a few areas for improvement. The WiFi connection in room 118 was either non-existent or very weak. We reported the issue, and the hotel was prompt in offering a room change, but we chose to stay put. Additionally, the breakfast room staff included a lady with long black hair who displayed poor manners, which was quite disappointing. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall stay was enjoyable.

We enjoyed a 2-night stay at U Medvidku in a family room— very spacious and comfortable, and the reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful; full breakfast was included and we had good food and beer in the restaurant. Very close to all the main sites, and highly recommend when in Prague!

We truly enjoyed our stay at U Medvidku, and it was mostly due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was nice. The brewery tour, the beer spa, and the restaurant each added to the experience. But it was the help from staff with travel plans that allowed us to relax and really have fun.
