The apartment was nice for a short stay - the unit was clean and had everything you'd need in the kitchen. The bed was large and very comfortable. Check-in was easy and the host was communicative. The A/C are floor units not central air and amenities were very basic (thin toilet paper, small hotel shampoos and very tiny soaps) I'd recommend bringing your own toiletries.
The building itself is pretty run down and smells like smoke. (The unit itself smelled fine).
The neighborhood did not feel safe. This is no fault to the host and I should have done more research, but I did not feel comfortable walking around and was told by multiple people it wasn't a safe area to walk around in. Just a heads up, especially for any female solo travelers, to make sure to check out the area first to make sure you feel comfortable staying here.
