Morley Cottage is a newly renovated and beautifully appointed house situated in a quiet residential area very close to the heart of Southsea. With 3 generous bedrooms and a cottage feel, it can comfortably accommodate 8 guests when making use of the sofa bed in the living room.

We created Oliverball Serviced Apartments with the purpose of delivering high quality accommodation and service for those looking for a home away from home when staying in Portsmouth for business or pleasure.
At Morley Cottage parking permits provided for on street parking in MG zone.
Situated in Southsea, Morley Cottage is a beautifully refurbished, spacious 3-bedroom house. Close to the seafront and to the Southsea shopping and nightlife, the accommodation is perfectly situated to provide easy access to all that Portsmouth and Southsea has to offer while still affording a quiet but traditionally Southsea setting.
Self-check-in at the property via the key safe which is located to the right of the front door. You will be sent an email 48 hours before check-in with the code to access the key safe and enter the apartments. All keys are to be returned to the key safe on check-out.
At Morley Cottage we offer check in from 3pm and no earlier unless otherwise agreed and check out no later than 11am.
This fantastic property offers a large king size bedroom, plus a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, with a beautifully appointed shower room upstairs and a full bathroom downstairs. There is a large living area on the ground floor comprising a separate lounge with a large sofa (which is a sofa bed that sleeps 2) and an open plan kitchen and dining space with a table that seats 6-8 and a door which opens onto a patio.
Morley Cottage provides a lovely, bright and airy feel that would suit families and groups of business travellers alike, as well as smaller groups who just want a bit more space. We take pride in the quality of the property and experience that we provide to you as we hope that you will want to stay with us again.
Providing all the comforts of a modern hotel, with free Wi-Fi, flat screen smart TV, Netflix, high quality beds and furnishings and hotel quality linen, we also provide all the facilities needed to cook at home. A well-equipped kitchen includes an oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the crockery, pots and pans etc needed for the majority of dishes. There is also a dishwasher to save you having to wash it all up afterwards.
Situated in a traditional, quiet Victorian terraced street just off Highland Road, the property’s location is excellent with plenty of free on street parking. However, its just 5 mins walk to Southsea beach and 15 mins walk to South Parade Pier and Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only 15 mins walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops and the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Westwood Rooms (live music venue).
Just a 15 min drive or taxi ride gets you to the Historic Dockyard where you can see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior plus a host of other exhibitions and to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, plus more restaurants and bars and a cinema. Also in close proximity, is the Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym, Southsea Castle, D-Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum, Natural History Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Pier (amusement park), Southsea Common and the Skate Park.

Ideal!
An issue regarding this property prior to our stay meant that we were offered an alternative (Flat C, Hereford Road). This was promptly and easily sorted out with great communication from Colin. The accommodation was perfect for us. Extremely location, extremely clean, everything we needed available, accommodation spacious and well laid out, information well thought out. There wasn't anything to criticise. Would definitely return. Highly recommended.

To be honest we did not like our holiday because there were not pictures of stairs and the stairs were very thin and small this meant that there is a big risk of falling down the stairs and 2 people fell down.one person had a bad head injury

Overall a great stay, location is excellent and easy walk to the beach and Albert road for restaurants. Also very quiet location. Only down side is finding street parking but this is Portsmouth.

Perfect property for a short break
Well prepared and extremely clean end of terrace property within a 10 minute walk to many shops and restaurants. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard a short drive away and Southsea beaches and piers a short walk away. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Short weekend away to visit Gun Wharf and Harbour at Portsmouth.
Perfect house with a great location for beach! Each room was nicely decorated and very clean could not fault the accommodation. Use of the small garden for meals outside was good as we were very lucky with the weather! Thanks for our lovely stay!

Tolles Haus in guter Lage
Das Haus ist wirklich sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, Küche und Bäder absolut sauber - man merkt, dass der Vermieter sehr viel Wert darauf legt, diese Unterkunft in Schuss zu halten. Selbst der winzige Hof hinter der Küche hatte Charme und wurde von uns an lauen Sommerabenden gerne genutzt, um gemütlich ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Die Umgebung ist sehr angenehm, eine ruhige Wohngegend mit sympathischen Nachbarn und zum Meer und der Strandpromenade braucht man gerade einmal 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Ebenso nah ist ein Coop-Laden, der die wichtigsten Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs im Angebot hat. Für Großeinkäufe fährt man knapp 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Besonders am Abend kann es manchmal schwierig werden, einen Parkplatz in der Nachbarschaft zu finden, aber mit ein bisschen Suche hat auch das immer geklappt. Insgesamt haben wir (vierköpfige Familie mit zwei Kindern im Teenageralter) fünf schöne Tage in Morley Cottage verbracht und würden es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
