The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I was expecting it to be more upscale. A lot of noise when neighbors enter or leave their rooms. The windows are useless because they are so frosted that couldn't really tell what the weather was. Like a little cave. The parking is free but hard to find Saturday afternoon when came back.

Our stay could’ve been better. At night there was a humming noise on the second floor at kept me awake. Also, the bathroom was too small and kept us from moving around also. There were no plastic cups for water. On the good side, a continenta breakfast was very good and the Old salt restaurant was reasonable and tasty.

Wonderful stay. Felt like and looked like a first class place and with a history. The breakfast was nice too. Can’t say enough good things about it. We loved it. You can tell the staff are treated well, as they were excellent. Ate at the restaurant two nights and enjoyed.

I’ve been by this location hundreds of times never stayed or ate there. So this year we decided to stay great place love the old inn with brick walls. The room & bed was comfortable. The restaurant was fabulous. I can’t believe I had never eaten there before. I will definitely stay there again centrally located between Hampton and Portsmouth as well.
