This is a great Pousada in trancoso, it’s set in beautiful gardens and it’s very quiet and relaxing. the staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had a great stay

I booked and paid for a superior double room and they changed me to the smallest room they had without letting me know. When I got there (after 24 hours travelling), it was extremely small, you could not move inside the bathroom, the water was cold and the room was dirty. I complained and they said that they changed me because the people that had booked that room did not fit there and since I was staying alone I would not need a bigger room. It was extremely frustrating and disrespectful. I had already paid for the bigger nicer room! Also, there's no wifi in most of their rooms.
